Can't say enough good things about Sofia! It had been on my list to try for awhile, and I made a reservation on a whim on a Friday in the off-season. Everything, from the decor to the food, was outstanding. I can't stop thinking about the complimentary pesto they serve with bread! My husband had the Moussaka (amazing), and I had the tuna. We also enjoyed the eggplant dip! We visited around Christmas, so it was beautifully decorated inside! I've already recommended it to a few people, and I can't wait to go back when we're in the area.

Its our first time dining here and the food was super amazing. Love the beautiful atmosphere of the place as well. Food quality was amazing, as well as portion size. We loved everything we ate. Authentic. This applies to both food and ambiance. The Greek/Mediterranean architecture and decor creates the perfect backdrop for a culinary experience one can not easily forget. Very few restaurants serves Whole Branzino “Latholemono” (flame grilled whole fish) as Sofia does. In fact, every dish that was carried past us was beautifully presented and tempting.

Cannot say enough good things about this place! Stumbled up them on Open Table and after reading reviews and the menu we decided to go. Everything was FABULOUS from the atmosphere to the wait staff to the food. Everything was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. Portions are VERY generous. We will most definitely be recommending this place to everyone we know. Can’t wait to go back!

Went there the other night with a few buddies of mine. We had an amazing time. The service was amazing and the food was even better. I got the lamb chops that were cooked to perfection. Two of my friends shared the mixed grill and said it was great. The pasta Sofia was delicious. Highly recommend this place and will be going back! Thank you Maria for all your app recommendations and the great service!

Its difficult to write a review for Sophia Restaurant because I was really in the mood for dessert and ordered a tiramisu slice and some calamari for delivery. Calamari delivery, you wonder? Well believe it or not the calamari arrived still very crispy and it was prepared very well. We enjoyed this very much. What was disappointing was the $8 slice of cake that waa super, underwhelming both in size and in flavor. For $8 I was hoping for something that was shareable for two but it really was quite small/thin. Not ideal for a dessert to share on a date at all (unless you're both on diets haha). Perhaps

This place is an absolute gem! We went there for dinner few weeks ago and loved everything we tried there. The food was delicious. We had roasted eggplant, sea bass with crabmeat, seared tuna and baked moussaka. Everything was fresh, well prepared, and yummy. I highly recommend any of these dishes. The drinks were good as well. The waiters were friendly and helpful, the service was fast. We were seated outside in their garden. The atmosphere was cozy, warm and romantic. So far this is my favorite place in Margate and we will definitely be back there!
