Will and William are an excellent team. Not only are they kind, patient, and careful (exceptionally well equipped to handle antiques from the 1800's) they have a calm energy that puts you instantly at ease. Last week they made the first phase of our move as stress free as it could have been. Today we are in phase two and I already feel less stressed knowing Will and William are here to help again. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. They are just that good. 11/10 recommend.

Our experience with C&R Moving was incredible! Ion & Q (our movers) were timely, professional, competent, calm, friendly, and organized! Our new house is 3 stories and they handled it so well! They took care of our possessions and moved everything in a timely manner. It was 1000% worth the cost (which was very reasonable). I would recommend C&R moving (and especially Ion & Q) to anyone who needs a stress free move!

This was the worst moving experience I’ve ever had. I should have known they were incompetent when they had to ask me 3 different times for my address which I included on the form listing all my items. I spent weeks packing and labeling all my boxes. I got severely sick in the middle of the move and had 103.5 fever when we got to the new house. I showed the guys the different rooms and then fell asleep on my couch. Unfortunately the movers didn’t wake me to sign off and had my senior parents sign for me. When I woke up I had boxes clearly labeled as garage in my kitchen and boxes clearly labeled

William and Caesar and the rest of the team (four guys total) moved our law practice out of a class A building on Capitol Mall into another class A building on Capitol Mall.
These guys had amazing energy to get things done. Despite delays due to building elevator shut downs, and building blockage of the loading dock, William and the rest of his team were energetic and managed to compensate to keep the estimate on track (again, no fault of the team, just a building hiccup).
We really appreaciate their enthusiasm, conscientiousness, and ability to get the job done right.

We used CR Moving Services for our move from Northern CA to the central coast. They provided a fair and accurate quote and had great customer service & communication. We made a mistake and packed both sets of our RV keys in the moving truck and didn’t realize the mistake until the truck had already left. Their team unloaded the truck to find the… keys we needed and was very helpful. I was very nervous about using a moving company for the first time especially for a long distance move but it was a great experience. William was the lead on our job and was phenomenal. We utilized CR for packing household goods for a long distance move (Seattle company). They estimated 3 days, but only packed for 1 1/2+ days. On the final day, things were just being thrown into boxes with no wrapping or sorting. The long distance movers were not happy with the way boxes were not properly packed, and had to re-pack some of those boxes. Their charges were rather high, particularly for the services as received.

Hired C&R movers to move the final items from house and garage wife had had enough of self moving should of had C&R move us from the start. William and Dan from the start, PROFESSIONAL, POLITE, NO MESSING AROUND, EXTREMELY HARD WORKING ALL AROUND NICE GUYS!!!!!! Would recommend this company for all your moving needs!!!!!!!

Be warned of the last minute document they present to you on moving day that authorizes them to add additional time to the original estimate (in my case an additional $700) in case they go over the time and YES they conveniently went over exactly that additional time and left items on the contract for me to move myself.

I used CR Moving to move my late father's belongings out of storage in Antelope and to a location in Elk Grove for an estate sale. I was quoted just over $400 total. The move ended up costing over $700 - so double what I was quoted. The movers themselves were really good and professional, but I was unhappy about the surprise cost, but too weary to fight.

Paul is the owner of this family business and is super personable and helpful. Moving is stressful enough, but CR Moving's full service move makes it so much more bearable! They were very professional and careful packing my items and took care of my furniture, which made me feel more confident that they would take care of my stuff when transporting it. Interesting to see a ridiculous "response" to my July 2014 review. All lies, btw. It took several days to discover the items that were missing- -two watches and a gift card--could not be located because I unpacked possessions for a large home by myself. Not difficult to understand. I am meticulous and highly organized and never lose....anything. The watches and gift card were never found. Nearly three years later: Never found. I just called for an estimate and was smirked at by the guy on the phone for asking questions about minimum time required. I have everything moved into our garage already to go so I didn't think that question was as FUNNY as he thought it was- very unprofessional . I wouldn't hire them to move a dog house.,scratched my end table, let the garage door down on the hood of my car, chipping paint, scratch paint off the wall when they slid the TV into the entertainment slot on the wall, over charged me $1300+ and still didn't move all my stuff, and want to come back 2 days later to complete the move. I couldn't… wait 2 days later so I had to hire someone else to complete the job. I paid them what I thought the job was worth ($800)and now they want to take me to small claims court for the balance. I should be taking them to small claims court.

This company obviously says whatever it takes to get your business and then the day of forces you to sign a "Will Not Exceed" contract. This legally allows them to charge you over and above their quote and say "Hey look, you agreed to this! You could have stopped our services at any time." Right, as if you can just up and stop moving.
**It should be noted, my bill was not reduced to $428.00; rather I was charged the amount I was forced to sign the day of our move.**
