The mission of Growing Tree Childcare and Preschool is to provide high caliber child care value, offer outstanding quality, offer competitive prices, and tailor the needs of each individual family. It is our intention to fulfill this mission by giving extra effort to listening to parent's needs, addressing parent's needs, and doing everything possible to keep parent's satisfied.
Growing Tree Childcare and Preschool was established in 2000. The Owner, Director, and Licensee is Maggie Poon, a graduate with a major in Child & Adolescent Development. Prior to childcare, she educated young children during her tenure with the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD), specifically, teaching at Garfield Elementary School (Bilingual Program) in the North Beach district.

Services
The reception of our newest facility at 1984 Great Highway in San Francisco has been great, but we would still love for you and your family to stop by for a first-hand view. Our Open Houses are for anyone interested to come in, meet us, and get a feeling for how much their child will enjoy their time here.
Where is the school located and what is the age group? In the Outer Sunset district, this facility is located at 1984 Great Highway in San Francisco (94116), facing the ocean, and is situated between Ortega and Pacheco Streets. The front entrance is on Great Highway and the back entrance is on 48th Avenue.
Mandarin immersion will be available and taught in all subjects and lessons. Our educational philosophy combines child development, language, academics, and play, which can guide the way a day is structured. Parent preferences and ideas are often an important part of our planning. Circle Time includes language development, reading aloud, Chinese language art, and Show & Tell.
Russell and Jack, our twins, attended Growing Tree Child Care for two and half years. Maggie Poon, Director of the center, is incredibly energetic and enthusiastic and deeply committed to the well-being of children. She has created a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment that is fun for children and fosters each child's unique development.
