Just like humans, animals can be affected by infectious diseases, some of which can be transferred to humans (zoonotic diseases). As responsible pet owners that want to keep your animals safe and healthy, we highly recommend that you vaccinate them in line with current guidelines. Puppies and kittens receive initial protection against infectious diseases from their mother's milk as long as she has been regularly vaccinated.
Every year, thousands of pets go missing, unfortunately many never make it back home. Microchips are a safe and effective way to increase your pet's chances of being returned to their loving family. Many pets wear a collar with tags, which can be broken, lost, or removed. An implanted microchip will provide a permanent form of identification for your pet if they are ever to get lost or stolen.

I wish I could give this place more stars! I’ve been to a few vets, and this place is by far best!
Even though Covid has put a damper on a lot of things, this place made the best of it. You cannot go in the building, but they come out for your pet and communicate frequently during the exam/visit. Every single staff member was kind and patient. Any questions I had, they answered and spoke to me respectfully.
The communication is really what made me love this place. I’ve been to vets that do what they want and just let you know how it went, where you trust them blindly. These Doctors call you

We have been with Dr. Wilhelm for about 9 years now. He is an amazing vet. He cares very much for the animals that he takes care of. At one point we wouldn't see anyone, but him, over time we have realized that every vet that works there is just fantastic. His wife is also an amazing vet! Every single person that works here is simply the best! They are all kind, caring, funny, and treat you like your part of the family. I don't trust easily when it comes to my sweet babies. ( I had one pass because of a vet) I do trust everyone here. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that they would do anything

It was the first time that I went to the Watsontown Animal Hospital when there was a true emergency for my dog Baby. She had pyrometro and if not operated on immediately, the infection could have ruptured and killed her. I was like an over-protective quasi-hysterical mother, not knowing what to do or what to expect when I first arrived.
From the moment I walked in and met the receptionist, Tia, I felt there was a concerned sympathetic soul. Then Dr. McCaffrey entered and with a calm, commanding demeanor, I knew that I was in the room with an expert and a high-leveled experienced veterinarian

I brought my elderly dog in sick, and was already upset, thinking I might have to put her down. Upon entering the facility, I stood for several minutes as staff talked amongst themselves. This was clearly a priority over greeting the customer who had just entered. While I sat and waited, another customer entered and her dog deficated on the floor. The receptionist joked and made a disrespectful remark about the elderly lady that worked there and then called her in to clean up the mess.
Once in the exam room, the Doc was pleasant and professional. I was asked to leave the room as they drew
