If your visiting Monrovia, one of the best gyms around, I am from IL for a week great price, outstanding equipment, a lot of arsenal, Hammer, nice atmosphere. I have trained all over the states, you wouldn’t be disappointed!!

Scammers! Beware of scammers. This gym allows members to represent them as personal trainers and then when they have a concern the "trainer" is no longer affiliated with the gym. Stole $350 from me, still waiting for a call from the manager Zac

My wife an I have been going to Foothill Gym for the last 2 years and have loved it! The new location is huge with a large variety of equipment. Everything is kept clean and orderly with friendly staff.

Hands down the best gym out there! If you really want to grow and better yourself, this is the place for you! You just can't go wrong with Foothill Gym; both the staff and members are very supportive & hardworking individuals. They also literally have every piece of equipment you need there, equipment you don't even see in your average commercial gyms. Foothill is like heaven, but on earth. Lol All seriousness, they 100% exceed in customer service. You will not regret joining, 10/10 would recommend to anyone, plussss the price & hours are great. Definitely worth checking out

This is a top notch facility. Management is always working to improve and provide their customers with a great experience. They are constantly investing in upgrades to equipment, providing a wide variety. Staff is attentive, friendly and helpful.
What I like best is that there is something for everyone and they work to fit everyone's fitness needs. All fitness levels are welcome.

I used to go to Golds Gym in Pasadena before it unfortunately closed down. Crying myself to sleep every night thinking I could possibly never get the same 'I'm at home' feeling again at a gym, I almost gave up looking for a new spot...until Foothill. Walking in felt better than Christmas as a child, better than not having to wait in a long line at In n Out, or better than the last day of school before summer break. It's an ok gym. It's more into body building and I like to take spin classes but they recently took almost all the spin classes away so I had to find another place to work out. Bar Method which I love. So looks like I can only do a pin class twice a week with Soli. She's the best! Great music and isn't boring. Unfortunately I think they'll be charging extra for the spin classes:(

I love this place, I've signed up to so many other gym through the years but nothing beats this place.
Family owned, clean, friendly staff, and new equipment.
I've been coming here for years, and I doubt I'd be working out anywhere else soon.

Updating my review for their new location on Foothill & Primrose. The parking lot (off Primrose) is a little larger than at their old location, and is a lot easier to get in & out.

The new location has two separate areas divided by the reception area in the middle. The cardio machines, spin cycles, etc. are all in one area, along with a few of the weight machines, while the rest of the weight machines, the squat racks, and the free weights are all in the other area.

My wife and I dropped in last night for a workout and enjoyed it. The coach and members were friendly and welcoming. The facility is nice with lots of room and all the usual CF equipment. I would definitely recommend dropping in if you are in the area.

This place has become the new MECCA! Especially since opening their new location indoors this past week. I joined after the very first COVID shutdown last summer since my Golds Gym Pasadena location never re-opened. The owner Brian has done such a service to the SGV area to do whatever it takes to keep his gym open. I have personally grown so much physically and as a person since joining this gym and I have Foothill Gym to thank for it. I happily joined this gym last summer in the middle of Covid, as my previous trainer works here regularly and has been a member for a very long time. I was happy to find a gym open at all, regardless of dirt (that you're going to get when you're outdoors and 106 Degrees temps)! Brian worked with the County constantly to keep the doors open and make adjustments so that he could. Every day has been something new, sometimes challenging and sometimes great. This gym is janky asf. Literally as dirty as it can get. NEVER WEAR WHITE! Your clothes will turn black 30 mins into your workout. There was a preworkout stain under the dumbbells that stayed there for over six months. On the other hand, the equipment is super old and sometimes broken. Whenever they buy a new machine it's always worse than the old one. Don't waste your money, go to golds gym, speakeasy, or even planet fitness lol. (Terrible crowd too)

I recently joined last year and throughout the times I was there it's one of the best local spots to hit up ! Great staff members and a very loving community !

This gym is great! fairly Spacious outdoor gym. Very motivational as most there are in phenomenal shape.

Only downside is very little mask enforcement. Bummer.

Foothill Gym has been my gym for 20 years. I never wrote a review on it before as I always thought it was great and anyone that visited it would surely feel the same way.
The owner Brian, his staff & members are welcoming. Upgrades to equipment happen on the regular. Heck...Brian even upgraded the entire building by going out and buying a bigger & better one with plenty of parking!
Surely noone could complain about this...right?
Wrong...as I read some of the reviews right here I couldn't believe a 1 star review was given to this great business, until I read who wrote it: a disgruntled

This gym is amazing ! Clean and staff is super friendly and helpful. Outdoor set up is great and mask wearing is enforced over the nose and mouth so all clients feel safe during the pandemic. This gym feels like a family and it is amazing. Highly recommend Foothill gym it is a great value for the price .

I appreciate their constant monitor to watch the flow and walk around enforcing proper wearing of protective masks. Other places ignore guidelines and let their regular patrons wear as they please. So thank you for that, it sends a message respect everyone and follow the rules.

I'm 72 and have worked out more than 50+ years in plenty of gyms. Foothill Fitness is clearly the very best.

All the type of weights and stations you would ever need. Lifters of all ages, backgrounds all come together to share a passion and camaraderie.

Update: I emailed the owner but never heard back. They still seem like good people and have a great gym community and I understand their reasoning. I still think they could have handled us better but I don't want to leave them with a 2 star review.

This is the prototype neighborhood gym. It has all the equipment you need at a great price with no high pressure salespeople. It has a lot of serious lifters but no problem for a beginner. You can tell many people have worked out here for years and years and know each other - most people are friendly. It is not a slick corporate chain, but rather a family owned business which I prefer to support.
