Following graduation from school, Dr. Devlin completed a joint residency with Columbia University and Farleigh Dickinson University in 1989. Following graduation from school, Dr. Devlin completed a joint residency with Columbia University and Farleigh Dickinson University in 1989. In 1990 he opened his Orthodontic practice in Raleigh, North Carolina; with a satellite office in Clayton, North Carolina. He is an active member of various organizations including the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists.
The following indicators may possibly serve as a warning sign that braces may in fact be needed:. Are you experiencing or suffering problems from any of these? Many orthodontic problems such as the ones listed above are easier to correct when they are found early. The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that it is best for children to see the Orthodontist by age seven to advise if orthodontic treatment is recommended.

Your general Dentist may refer you to our office, but a referral is not needed to set an initial visit. There is no set age; However, we can start evaluating around age 6 or 7 (earlier if your Dentist notices something that may need early intervention). Our office will file your insurance for you as a courtesy.

Dr. Devlin has done a first class job on my daughter's smile. He is very approachable and explains what and why things need to be done before he does them. All of the staff are very friendly and cheerful. I don't think I have EVER seen Kim at the front desk without a smile on her face. As a matter of fact; I've never seen an unhappy client in 4 years. Dr. Devlin has assembled a great team here. So there you go!
