It's not easy to find a clean, reliable, and affordable wax place in NYC but this is it! Alicja is amazing - responsive and easy to get an appt with, accommodating, and she is great at what she does. Her space is small (but spotless) and that keeps her services reasonably priced. She also has let me try new services I've never done (like eyebrow tinting) free of charge before committing - probably because she knows I'll be happy, which I always am (but she's not pushy). 5 stars for sure!

Alicja is amazing!! She is so nice and welcome and does a great job with my eyebrows! I've been going here for almost 3 years. I came here once and never went anywhere else! She is very professional and caring. I've never had any problems and don't believe the previous reviews. I've gotten my lip, eyebrows, and Brazilians and they are flawless every time! She also does amazing facials that leave my skin clear and rejuvenated. Affordable and great service!

I love Alicia & Harmony Skin Care. I wouldn't go any where else for a wax. Alicia is personable & excellent at what she does. I go to her for my Brazilian wax, now I will also be going for my eye brows. She gives advice on how to keep up between appointments & most importantly she makes you feel very comfortable in a situation that could be very uncomfortable.
They new location is beautiful and clean. I recommend anyone who needs to pampering to come here. Besides waxing, facials are also available.

Best waxing in New York City. I went in for a Brazillian and Alicia was fantastic. She has great attention to detail and uses superb technique (to prevent ingrown hairs). She was personable and honest - gave me great advice for skincare.
You can tell after a wax if your skin has been damaged, and mine feels great with virtually no redness.
I am definitely going to be a regular here!

I don't think I'll ever come back, even though I bought a 2 for 1 deal and have only used one. Worst Brazilian, EVER. She saw that I was uncomfortable (awkward & in pain) and made no effort to do anything about it. To be fair, this is not my first Brazilian and although the process itself is no walk in the park, there are definitely more professional places with the right expertise for the (very sensitive) job! Not very friendly, not very professional, not a fan.

This place is so inconsistent! Half the time the waxing is painless and immaculate. The other half, it's excruciating, time-consuming and messy. The aesthetician either silently goes about her business like a pro, or she blames her poor work on your lack of regular waxing.
It's a total toss-up. Enter at your own risk, and be prepared for a mother of a guilt-trip.
And as a side note: Come with cash. You can pay with a card, but you have to tip in cash, which I rarely carry. I had to walk around and find an ATM after (not what you want to do on a hot day after getting your nether regions

I worked with Lifebooker and received a credit for 50% of what I paid for the Loot deal.
But the fact remains that 2/3 of the services promised by Harmony/Oxy Bella were not delivered. I am not fully satisfied with the way this issue has been resolved by the businesses involved, but I don't feel the need to expend time and frustration to push this matter further.

I went here for eyelash extensions with Star and she was absolutely fantastic. She's super nice, helped me pick out the right lashes for me, and did a fantastic job. I've gotten a lot of compliments & I'm absolutely obsessed with them now. I went back a few weeks later for a touch-up after I (drunkenly) messed them up a little bit and my 2nd experience was just as great. I've been able to get a same-day appointment both times, and for the second one she maneuvered to fit me into her already tight schedule.

My friend and I booked 2 massages through a deal we found on Lifebooker. We arrived on time and there was no receptionist. We waited in the waiting room for about 10 minutes when our therapists came out to meet us.

The receptionist was very pleasant and was diligent in taking down my discount number over the phone. I was making an appt the day of and I felt I was welcomed to do that. I let her know when I knew I could get there and she was very accommodating. I'm sorry I do not have her name.
The Waxer: Since my first Brazilian 5 years ago was a disaster I was a little hesitant about having it done again. Since I'll try most things twice, I went in there like a G. The cutest little lady warmly welcomed me and shortly there after,
