I’ve been going to Monique before big events and notice a surprising difference when putting on a tight dress or wearing a bathing suit the next day! I've been going to Angela Guerra's for waxing for over 6 years, since she had her small studio in SoHo, and recommend her services to anyone I meet. Angela has a gentle touch, unlike all the places I've been before her. I've read some of the reviews and would add to the negative ones that everyone starts from somewhere. Angela has the most experienced magical hands and view as far as lymphatics are concerned. I went in for an autoimmune condition for which my doctor recommended lymphatic massage. All practitioners I've met have been very experienced and empathetic and really understand the complexities of a medical condition! I see people in the waiting room with diabetes, lupus, Lyme who all need a boost to their immune system. This is a great place, serene chic atmosphere, and amazing people -- highly recommend it!

I started coming here because of the good reviews I read on Yelp, back in 2019. I got a 10 session package for Lymphatic drainage and cellulite reduction. Then when I had 2 sessions left, Angela suddenly stopped replying to texts and calls to reschedule the last appointments. I honestly thought she had gone out of business - but then I saw she had relocated to Flatiron. I called to ask what happened to my package - and why she stopped picking up my calls. She wouldn't give me an answer and told me I had to pay a 50% extra fee if I wanted to use my last 2 sessions. When I told her this was

I just came here for the first time last week and saw Bianca for a lymphatic drainage massage. The staff was very friendly, it was pouring rain and the receptionist got me towel when I walked in soaking wet. I also have nut allergies so her and Bianca checked the lotion for me. Bianca was very thorough with my treatment and the salon was clean. I will definitely be trying more treatments here!

I got the modeladora massage. I really enjoyed it! I think this place certainly competes with the more heavily branded Tox. They have more private rooms than the flimsy curtains Tox has, the massage is the same quality if not better, and the price point is certainly more reasonable. I believe this place has better customer service as well. Everyone was lovely including my therapist, Vivianne! Will book again!

I found Angela on Yelp almost a year ago and was planning on doing the lymphatic drainage sessions only leading up to my wedding. Instead, I've continued to see Angela and her staff (Monique and Isa) and cannot recommend them enough. Each session is catered to my need and different machines and techniques are applied as necessary. I've seen great results and feel better at the end of each session. If you're looking for lymphatic drainage, this is the place to go!

After searching Yelp for a good lymphatic drainage massage- I found Angela, and I am so thankful I did! Her prices beat anyone in NYC, and her new facility is so clean and comfortable. I've done the LDM a few times now and each time gets better and better. She is very helpful in explaining the benefits to the LDM, and way to upkeep between sessions. She's so knowledgable on all her services and I love our conversations. Definitely highly recommend!

Lymphatic drainage massages vary drastically in effectiveness. I needed someone who was trained in the proper technique in order to help combat stagnant, toxic lymph due to surgery and am lucky to have found Angela. She's the real deal, and so knowledgable and passionate about everything heath-related, as well as very supportive and giving of her time. I first heard about Angela in mid 2015, on a group of Brazilians on Facebook. They were recommending Wax services, so I decided to try a full Brazilian. The fact that she uses natural wax, it makes the process much less painful, and she is also very quick and gentle.
As for appointments - You need to book it through setmore, which has a link on her website, but if anything comes up, you can text her (best way to reach her as she is normally with a client and does not have an assistant), and she will work around your schedule, as she is flexible.

It's been a year since I've seen Angela. From what I remember from my services I received a Brazilian+ Full leg wax special.
What stood out most with Angela from other Brazilians that I've had is that she was quick and thorough. Like other reviewers she makes her own wax and it was the only wax that didn't irritate my skin.
Her table side manners were amazing. She was so pleasant and patient and told me some things about herself and coached me through some of the more painful strips. (Y'all know which ones).

I've been coming to Angela for about a year now, and I feel fortunate to have found her. I go for the waxing, but from my experience with Angela, I would 100% recommend her for her other services because of how knowledgeable she is regarding them.
As for my personal account, Angela is very flexible to schedule with and she is very responsive with her booking system. The prices are reasonable ($50 for a Brazilian) which allows me to keep a regular schedule with her.
