Mind and Body Kids has been open during our normal hours of 6:30 am to 6 pm to serve our families during the entirety of the pandemic. Our center is following CDC recommendations including temperature checks, hand washing, enhanced sanitizing utilizing professional cleaners and social distancing at pick-up and drop-off.

Services
Andrea Spangler, Director/Owner has been working with preschool aged children for 28 years. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Child Psychology. Yvonne Greenfield, our Assistant Director, has a Bachelor's Degree and over 25 years of early childhood experience. Our lead teachers are all educated in Early Childhood Education with years of experience working with preschool aged children.
We are now allowing a limited number of tours during the day, along with nights and weekends. Should you like to schedule a tour, please call the center at 623-878-1539 to discuss options. We are currently projecting that many rooms will be on a waitlist in the next few weeks based on recent enrollment and tour activity.

Born in Hungary, Andrea Spangler started working with preschool aged children in 1990 while earning her Bachelor's degree in early childhood education with a minor in child psychology. After 7 years of experience working in European schools, she came to the United States. She initially worked with individual families until she accepted a position as a Lead Teacher in a special education preschool in New York.

Loved this place! My son attended this school for 2.5 months, we unfortunately had to move out of state so he couldn't attend longer. I'm hopeful one day they can open a second location in California! (One can only dream). Steve, the owner was great. He was easy going and always greeted us at the door. Yvonne, was a sweet lady and seemed to have a lot of patience with the kiddos. She also did the cooking class with the kids!

I can't explain the profound difference in my daughter since starting here. I brought her to Mind and Body Kids after seeing a DRASTIC, negative change in her behavior at her old preschool. I was so concerned at the change, I was desperate to find a better environment. I researched several preschools and found Mind and Body Kids. I called to get more information and was transferred directly to the owner, Steve, who scheduled a tour with me on a Saturday to accommodate my schedule. This school has been welcoming since the first time we walked in. It has been over a year since are kiddo started attending Mind & Body Kids. The teachers, staff, administration are all engaged with the children and their work shows in our little human coming home and spilling over, sharing with us all that was learned. Mrs kristin is great love mrs evon but the school has fallen so hard on not finding a stable environment for the kids constantly looking for teachers one teacher put bruises on my daughter and because the lack of finding help she was moved to another class... we were ok with it we had no choice since we both work. But recently the classrooms have been chaotic new teachers every week and mrs anita being one had my daughter come home saying she grabbed her and hurt her. We told the teacher we were thinking of filing a police report cause enough is enough ... she in return threatned to quit and instead

My son has attended this school for almost two years, and we are beyond pleased with the staff, curriculum and organization. They always have fun activities going on, such as picnics at the park so other siblings and family member can be involved, muffins with mom for mother’s day, donuts with dad for Father’s Day and so many more. My son absolutely loves his teachers and even gives me a hard time sometimes about leaving when I pick him up!
I highly recommend this school for parents who want their children in good, loving hands while they are at work. 10 stars if I could give it!!

The staff at Mind and Body kids have been incredible and our daughter has learned more here than any other daycare/pre-school in AZ. They genuinely CARE and work hard to see each child as a unique and special person. Our little one struggles sometimes at drop off but they work so well with her that after a few minutes she couldn't be happier that she was there and ends up having an amazing day. Now when I pick her up she tells me she had a good day and about her friends, which is so fun to hear about! I love seeing the progress she is making and watching her build up her confidence even more

This is my sons first time in any school or program and we are nothing but happy. The staff here is absolutely amazing and so involved with my son and my family. We get updates and photos everyday and to see my son grow and excel the way he has is amazing. We are so grateful we found mind and body! Just a note to add, I went to 6 schools and this was the best one I visited and we enrolled right away! Even on my mom days where I'm crying for leaving my boy they treated me like family and we will forever be grateful for this family

We have been taking our four and a half year old to Mind and Body Kids since August. Since the moment we toured the facility (three times - just so this picky mom could be certain), they have been FABULOUS. We were new to the area and left an amazing preschool in CA. This school has surpassed every expectation and then some!! My son is going into kinder next year and already knows how to count to 50, knows some Spanish AND sign language, and is able to effectively play well with others in a school setting. Miss Abby and Coach Matt are great with their kiddos and you can tell they have a deep passion

Our son has been going to Mind and Body kids for almost a year now and we could not be happier! The school is incredibly engaging and caring. I love the fact that they have the kids constantly moving (they're toddlers after all) But always engaged in some activity that would help their fine and gross motor skills. Our son comes home tired but happy because of all the exciting things they did for that day. The owners are very much involved and easy to reach if needed. We're so happy to have found them!!!

This school is perfect from the tour I did. It is very hands on learning and affordable. The assistant director is a gem and very knowledgeable. The programs they offer are something I have not seen in a childcare facility before. They teach kids basic survival skills in a way by teaching them how to make things with their hands and how to grow things on their own. The only reason I did not give the school five stars was because every classroom I went into, granted each class was huge and had a lot of kids and staff in it, the kids were very rowdy and all over the place. I am so extremely happy with this School. Everyone is super nice to the adults and the kids. They make sure to know everyone's name's. They truly care about the kids well being. If there is an issue they work together with you to figure out what would be best for your child. Hands down the best school I have found for my daughter. The things that they do for the kids are incredible and the kids love learning with all the teachers, you can tell when you walk in. Thank you so much for being so wonderful 😍😍😍

My daughter started as soon as she turned two and she absolutely loves it here! We have gone through other daycares both here in Arizona and in California and none of them compare to Mind and Body Kids! The staff are extremely friendly and attentive to the needs of the children, and I feel 100% certain about leaving my daughter in the care of this establishment.

My boys love it here and never want to leave at the end of the day! The owners are welcoming and have done an amazing job in setting up the rooms to become learning environments to keep the children fully engaged throughout the day. The teachers are great, they are educated they are not just caregivers or babysitters and Andrea the Director is amazing. They made my children feel welcome from day one. I have a peace of mind knowing my children are in good hands while I am at work. Truly blessed to have found Mind and Body Kids.

I've been bring my four year old son to mind and body for about a little over a month and couldn't be happier with the program that they have for all age groups. I love my sons pre-school. They always have something exciting going on for the kids, the owner and staff are very pleasant. She has been a blessing since I allowed my son to attend. He loves it here and they love him. I currently moved way out of the area from the Pre-school. However, I am now trying to figure out how I can keep him at this Pre-school!

I am a current GCU student who was looking for a center to observe for my field experience hours for my master's degree in early childhood education. Mind and Body is a breath of fresh air. It is not a typical childcare center, it is an academic early learning center. The day entails a consistent schedule for the students, the environment is awesome with different rooms for different age groups, each classroom consists of age appropriate materials (lots of cool learning supplies!!!), and the room set-ups are perfect for the students to learn and be engaged. I have had my daughter at Mind and Body Kids for over a week now and have seen a marked difference in her at the end of each day. Her lead teacher, Miss Adrienne, is mature and educated and has an amazing way of working with her. The curriculum being used is very well structured and allows my daughter to learn while playing. I appreciate the fact that the owners are very welcoming and have made me feel like a member of the family. I recommend Mind and Body Kids highly!!!
