Dr. Thomas Lovinggood prides himself on employing a staff of experienced professionals. His team is specially trained to provide outstanding orthodontic services to his patients in Olathe, KS and Independence, MO. His committment to excellent service includes not only great orthodontic treatment, but also a warm, friendly office atmosphere.
Dr. Thomas Lovinggood received his Bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt University in 1974. He went on to complete his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Missouri. After a one your General Practice Residency, Dr. Lovinggood attended St. Louis University where he earned his Orthodontic Certificate and Master's Degree.
At Lovingood Orthodontics in Olathe and Independence, we offer a variety of orthodontic treatment options to fit your lifestye such as self-ligating braces, clear braces and Invisalign. Dr. Lovingood is also a certified provider of orthodontic appliances to treat sleep apnea and loud snoring! When you come in for your initial consultation, we'll discuss all of the braces options with you to determine which one fits your needs.
Self-Ligating Braces are revolutionary in design. This system has a built in sliding door that allows the archwire to slide more freely so your teeth move more comfortably during treatment. Traditional braces use elastic bands to hold wires in place which cause more friction and can at times be very uncomfortable for patients.

Dr. Lovinggood provides excellent service! This is my second time in treatment. He created a beautiful smile for me the first time around however i didn't wear my retainer (shame on me lol). The entire staff has been amazing and I feel right at home. I am a singer/songwriter in Kansas City and my smile is a major part of my career. Doc makes sure that I look my best for photos, videos etc. I am so grateful!

Dr. Lovinggood removed my youngest sons braces today. He, along with his entire staff, do exceptional work. He has done amazing transformations on 5 of my family members so far. He made my husband look like a new man, as well as my 2 sons, my niece, & my bff's daughter. His prices are reasonable & he offers an affordable payment plan to fit your budget. My husband was the first person in our family to see him in 1999 and he is the only orthodontist I will refer people to. We have never had any problems over the years & I can not speak highly enuf of him.
