Dr. Cruz received his bachelor's degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. From there, he attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (now known as Rutgers School of Dental Medicine) and completed a general practice residency at Kings County Hospital Center in his hometown of Brooklyn, New York.
