First time coming here and it was great! Server Dio was very attentive and filled up our drinks without us asking. Zucchini appetizer was delicious. Salad was simple but so tasty. The ranch was the best! I had the chicken artichoke penne pasta. It sounds gross but let me tell you it was not nasty at all. It was thr BEST pasta I've ever had and I'm an olive garden kind of gal. This place was delcious. Husband had the steak and fettuccine. Steak was okay in flavor, fettuccine was creamy and had wonderful flavor. Hubs said he would buy the steak again due to lack of flavor and the price

We had a reservation for 6pm, didn't get seated until 7. The food was nothing special for the price. For $50+ seafood pasta plate, I would expect some fresh seafood, but it tasted like the frozen mixed seafood bag at Costco. Chicken Parm tasted like it had been sitting under a warming lamp since 7 am and was soggy under the lukewarm marinara sauce. Alfredo was especially sad. It resembled store bought jar white sauce on top of cold rinsed out fettuccine. They didn't even bother to heat the two together mixed on the stove. The only saving grace was that our server was especially nice and attentive

It had been awhile since I had been to Sorella. My boyfriend and I had an amazing waitress who gave great recommendations and was very informative on answering our questions. I ordered lasagna with bolognese sauce, my boyfriend had ribeye with scallops. The food was amazing. Delicious food, great staff, And the atmosphere was perfect!

I've been coming here for a long time and today was the first time they have ever said, "we don't have pizza today."

Very strange! They have a unique pizza to Bakersfield with a California cracker crust, you should always order crispy, that is hard to beat.
Food is expensive but good and the service is normally good.
I hope the pizza comes back or we might not.

Mamma Mia! Molto Delizioso! This place was incredible. Some may say the prices are a bit much but let me tell you, worth every penny! The servings are enough for leftovers (yay, lunch the next day) fresh ingredients. We came to celebrate our wedding anniversary but instead of a yearly celebrating, we might change it to monthly :D

I had not been here in about 14 years but was recently told their steaks were great. Took my parents (seniors) for their 4pm dinner. They enjoyed their lasagna and chicken artichoke penne. Portion size was generous and the price was fair. My steak on the other hand... well, let's just say this. I've had better rib-eye (even an 18oz.) that was cooked as ordered (ordered medium, got medium well) and wasn't as pricey as this one. I know it said "market price" but $46 was not worth it. If 8 come back... I'll stick to the pasta dishes.

We sat at our table for 24 min, while the tables around us were being served non stop. We kept staring at the patrons being served, while we sat and chocked on the French bread.
I made eye contact with two waiters, and they continued to bypass our table. Not until I yelled for service did a waiter finally bring us water, but didn't even offer to take our order.

Love this Italian restaurant. I usually get the Spicy Vodka Chicken. So delicious!! It is served with soup or salad and even though there is nothing super special about the salad, it is always so delicious!! It just has the perfect amount of everything and I get blue cheese dressing.
Their Rib Eye is the best in town!! Ask their food is delicious!!
The ambiance here is nice. Great for date night but also great for just catching up with friends! This place gets busy because it is such a great place to eat so be sure to call for reservations. They also take "to go" orders.

Very RUDE & unprofessional for the hosts to not be the least bit discreet when they let their friends jump the line! Three hosts standing up front and their friends walked in. One hostess told them 40 minutes until a table would be ready, but the hostess/busser with the reddish dyed hair (styled in two buns, has a nose ring and touched it several times; gross) very LOUDLY whisked the friends to a table when three other parties of two were patiently waiting. I feel for the other two hosts because her actions appeared to make them cringe a bit. I respect that the shorter host at least tried to

Their service is superb, mind you that my wife has been a server for many years and she said she never their service is by far the best service we ever received at a restaurant. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!!! The owner Nancy is a sweetheart, we enjoyed our conversation with her after our dinner. She's such a wonderful person and is very hospitable. I can go on and on about this place, it's a very cozy place to have a wonderful dinner with your family. This is our go to spot from now on when we're craving Italian food by far 😋

I was recommended by a friend to have the ribeye here. Ribeye at an Italian restaurant? I was so torn especially since it was sooooo expensive. I splurged and it was totally worth it. Best Ribeye steak I have eaten. Omg...you have to come and order it. It was a huge steak hence the huge price. I had to take it home. The waiter was nice and checked on us often.

1st time eating here. Took 40 minutes to get seated during dinner time for a family of 4. Place was pretty full. Server was friendly and attentive to our needs. Gave us some suggestions, I had the lasagna with a salad. My wife the chicken Alfredo and my kids Pizza and spaghetti respectively. Overall the food was good, and had a decent portion size. With the salad and bread and entree I got full but not stuffed. Will come back for take out and try out different things on the menu. Total price for all 4 (2 kids 2 adults) = $90 + tip.

Tonight was my very first time at Sorellas! I had first heard about this restaurant at the beginning of 2020, and I've had it on my list to try since but somehow never got around to it. A friend invited us to go and I am so happy that we did! We made reservations prior to. My friend checked in first and was seated by reservation time, so that worked beautifully well. My friends even already had their drinks! So this was off to a great start. Our waitress was really nice and understanding, she was good at explaining when we had questions.

Definitely way above and beyond for service and attentive staffing. 8 in our party. Excellent meal had by all.
If you're on a Taco Bell budget this is not the place for you... excellent portions and outstanding food and drink averaged $40 per person and worth every penny. Tip generously they deserve it.

I came here with friends and we decided it was time for a delicious Italian meal.
Anytime I get the option of a bolognese pasta - I'm going to go for it!
The portion was huge and overall it was good. My only complaint is that it could've been hotter. It was just warm. I should have asked them to heat it up - but i didn't.
They had a great selection of wine and the service was amazing. I'll definitely be back to try more dishes!

This is one of the better Italian restaurants I've ever eaten at. It speaks Italian loud and clear from the moment you walk in and you hear the Frank Sinatra music. The ambience, service, quality of the ingredients and the entire dining experience is 2nd to none. The waiter was extremely knowledgeable and actually changed my original choice. That in itself speaks loud and clear. Probably the best tiramisu I've ever had in my entire life and the vodka sauce was absolutely amazing although I would have liked it with just a little bit less salt. But the food is absolutely amazing and I will eat here

Good was good. It was a to go order. We ordered the cheese tortellini kids combo, it came with bread & a salad. We also got the chicken marsala with bread & a salad. We upgraded the salads to the antipasto salad, but they did give us the wrong dressing. The marsala tasted a little different to our liking,but it was okay. The cheese tortellini was very good & creamy. Would definitely order that again.

Came here for my wife's birthday. Somehow we had never been here before and I keep hearing about the steaks.
Atmosphere is very nice.
Staff is awesome. Our server was phenomenal.
My wife's chicken parmigiana was terrific.
My rib eye, cooked to perfection and delicious.
$45 for the steak is kind of stiff but it's a worthy splurge price for knowledgeable and gracious service, and a great tasting steak.
That said the price will definitely keep me from coming back. Sorry but for the price I expected more than a salad, a starch and a steak. Maybe toss in some asparagus

This is probably one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Bakersfield. I have been to the restaurant several times and have been a fan for over 15yrs, but for the past 9yrs or so... the office I worked for, had food from Sorella's all the time because the drug reps would bring us lunch. This is where I was able to try numerous options from Sorella's. Even though I tried numerous dishes here, my favorite dish since day one and til today is definitely the Lobster Ravioli.
It's crazy because every time I have visited here I have had a few friends tell me that I need to try the ribeye

Overpriced Olive Garden quality. Actually I'd probably give Olive Garden 3 stars, rather than Sorella's 2 star rating.
I can't say for sure, but I'm pretty sure the pre-dinner bread it warmed from frozen. The Caesar salad has Dijon mustard in the dressing. Not saying that's a horrible thing, just unique. However, the Caesar salad was pretty tasty. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal was not.
Ordered the chicken piccata on a bed of linguine. The linguine was over cooked. The chicken piccata and sauce weren't bad, but definitely not knock your socks off. Ordered
