After 3 days (picture is third day having them) the flowers were 95% dead. 4th day they had to be thrown away. Idk maybe the flowers weren’t good and perhaps call ahead to see what flowers are doing the best that day. The first delivery the flowers were squished in and 5 tulips were snapped, the lady was really nice (which was why I gave them 2 stars) sent a replacement. I also didn’t get a card the first one and I let her know and she sent it so I knew who sent this to me for my grandfathers passing. Super sad, they were on a window and they were drinking the water because I had to fill it

This place is absolutely amazing. I needed 12 center pieces for an engagement party and walked in with only a week’s notice. This place was reasonably priced, professional and created BEAUTIFUL centerpieces after only giving them the colors and size I wanted. I would highly recommend this florist, they are true experts at arrangements, deliver everything on time and are willing to work with you. Thank you for everything!

This place is a neighborhood staple. You walk in and even when it’s busy you’re treated like family. The selection of flowers & house plants are 2nd to none in the area. Great central location. Cathy and the whole team are the best!!! They did all of our floral arrangements for our wedding this past weekend and everything was absolutely STUNNING! My experience has been nothing short of amazing. From our first meeting in 2019, and my multiple changes, and postponing our wedding multiple times they have been the easiest people to work with. 1. Purchased a Medium Size Plant and it had a few Gnats which I thought I would be able to get rid of them with Peroxide and Water ("Thank You Google For Nothing"). After 2 months of trying that method every 2 weeks they would not go away!!! I returned the plant it was just not meant for me. It's so pretty but the Gnats was working my damn nerves! Ha Ha

Walked in to get our bouquet and the workers are just busy playing and talking to each other and let us wait 30 min for our bouquet there while there are no one else in front of us. The workers take their sweet time and complain about they only get paid 80$ a day. Very unprofessional and won't come back here again.

I should've read the low star yelp reviews before placing the order. Probably the worst customer service I've ever received. They just hung up on me when I called to ask about delivery ETA... When I called back, he was just so inappropriately rude for no reason not to mention the pictures on the website not matching their actual flowers we received.

On my wedding day 9/6 (around 10am) my brother went to pick up my order of flowers. He called me saying that the florist don't have my order. I send them credit card confirmation that I paid. Eventually they found the invoice. My brother had to wait for awhile for them to make the flowers. Would not recommend this place

Generally the service is good. They make nice bouquets and can put something together based on your budget that day.
That being said, twice I've gone in there and Rush Limbaugh is ringing through the whole shop. I didn't catch his recent "Joe and the Hoe" shtick about Kamala Harris but he's not someone I consider to be a good or moral American. If you're conservative that's your business, but there are strains of it that I'm not going to support. This would be one - B&B you lost me.

I am a regular of this family ran shop and its time to finally review this amazing spot! When I order cut flowers they are ALWAYS fresh and have even ordered special flowers in the past just for me. Although the neighborhood is changing its nice to have Jersey City natives as business owners still in the area. The best flower shop downtown!

They delivered old flowers that didn't last even a day. I emailed them regarding the issue. Cathy said they will exchange the bouquet and asked me to leave flowers with the doorman. They never delivered the new bouquet and stopped answering my calls and emails.
Just want to post an update. They did deliver fresh flowers today. But the experience from sending many emails and not getting a response is terrible. So still 1 star.

Charming old fashioned flower shop in the Harsimus Cove area of JC. Inside there's a selection of succulents, house plants, cut flowers and vases, flower pots etc. Outside there's an amazing array of bedding plants, herbs, tomato plants etc. The bedding plants etc are all strong and hardy and great value for money, much better than at other garden stores.
The people inside the shop are friendly and knowledgable. It's a delight to support independent old school retailers such as this and I'm only making this a four rather than five star review because I can't comment on

I found Bouquets & Baskets on yelp, and called to inquire about next day delivery from Seattle, WA.
Kathy was very friendly and helpful, as she listened and executed exactly what I wanted.
Flowers were for my sister's housewarming gift, and I cannot be more satisfied. I will definitely be using them again.
