KidsCo Jr. has four Early Learning Centers located in Gaithersburg, Rockville, and Damascus, MD catering to children ages 6 weeks - 5 years old. We offer MSDE-accredited progressive programs that stress the importance of self-esteem, self-reliance, and foster a love of learning to guide young children into a successful Kindergarten year.
We are excited to raise the bar by implementing The Creative Curriculum in all of our classrooms! By introducing children into a developmental continuum based on social, emotional, physical, and academic goals, a learning plan is customized for each of our families in a loving and safe atmosphere. KidsCo Jr. is based on the belief that young children deserve a healthy, secure, and stimulating environment to be cared for in their parent's absence.

Services
Our vision at KidsCo Jr. is to provide a home away from home that fosters growth and learning in a comfortable, nurturing, and consistent environment. It is a place where each child's individual process will be respected and encouraged through hands on experiences. We will tap into each child's natural curiosity, discover and develop his or her unique talent and inspire creative freedom.
KidsCo Jr. is now accepting applications to work within our Early Childhood Program during the school year. Our programs are located in Gaithersburg, Rockville, and Damascus, MD and cater to children as young as 6 weeks all the way to Pre-K. We are seeking enthusiastic, responsible, and creative team members who are excited to come to work each day!
KidsCo Jr. is proud to integrate The Creative Curriculum which balances high-quality assessment, professional development, and family connection resources to create a well-rounded program. Our curriculum ties closely with our philosophy that is designed to offer children a unique and comfortable alternative to their home care.
At KidsCo Jr., we recognize the importance of a young child's routines and incorporate them into their care. Our daily schedule is based on Center Rotation which offers interest within different developmental stages and promotes individualized growth. Therefore, there is no beginning and ending times for our activities, rather, experiences are pre-planned and made available for our entire day.
A two year old is observing, imitating, absorbing, and gaining knowledge with each experience! In addition, their drive to make personal decisions and to learn self-sufficiency is very strong! Our schedule is flexible, allowing opportunity for uninterrupted play and an environment conducive to emergent themes and discussions.

I don't know why this daycare doesn't have a lot of reviews but trust me you will not be disappointed with their service. It has been a year since my daughter started coming here after having terrible experience with another daycare and I am amazed by how professional all the staff is. Thank you Ms. Cindy and Ms. Hanna for taking care of my daughter

Very responsive director and teachers. No daycare setting is perfect, but any issue I have had with them has been responded to quickly, appropriately, and with honesty. I have high expectations for the people who care for my kids, but the staff here have built trust and demonstrated high-quality care for the well-being of my child(ren) since day one. The teachers not only engage the kids in play-based learning, but appropriately push them to reach new milestones and understanding. It is obvious that the the teachers genuinely love their job and the kids. The communication is wonderful, and when
