Went to the beach to watch the Sunrise with my daughters and literally a hop skip and a jump from the beach we find this cute cafe. Staff was amazing, very bubbly and lots of laughs, they have an amazing breakfast menu which includes a breakfast sandwich that compliments the Jersey Shore. As long as you order it in true Southern Jersey form “Pork Roll egg and cheese on a roll with salt pepper ketchup”. Definitely will be back…

Ray's has been a family favorite for breakfast for 20 years. Ray and the staff are friendly. The pancakes are the best in the world. The pork roll is popular with my husband and our five children, as are the western omelets. The toasted blueberry muffins are only outdone by the fresh donuts (a new addition). Get there early on summer weekends to avoid the wait.

Stopped here for breakfast yesterday -- and was pleasantly surprised by the quick service. I had an American cheese omelet with home fries -- and it was quite delicious. I also enjoyed the bright and cheerful atmosphere. No wonder all the locals eat here. It was the highlight of my one and only day in pretty Sea Girt.

I've been to this restaurant several times over the years. The food is mediocre.
Not once has the owner, who is often there, say hello. He just looks up and turns away. I purchased a groupon recently and went there for lunch. I ordered a lobster roll and a salad. It was absolutely disgusting and inedible. There were pieces of the lobster shell in the sandwich. I called over the waitress and told her and she just literally walked away in the middle of the conversation. This was an extremely rude and childish reaction when I was trying to resolve the issue. Place was clean. Unfortunately my omelet was way undercooked and runny. Then when I went to pay, the woman at the register was too busy texting to ring me up. She literally looked up at me 3 times and just went back to texting. A waitress must have noticed and came over to ring me up. Won't be coming back.

Great Breakfast spot. I had a side order of hash browns and they were so freaking good! But the portion was so small, that's the reason I didn't give 5 stars. My partner had an omelet with toast and hash browns and that omelet was huge! Prices are reasonable able for the area. Lots of parking g, friendly staff.

Waking up DTS (down the shore) with a hangover... have no fear, Ray's Cafe is a must try spot! My girlfriend's and I went one Saturday morning for taylor ham sandwiches, yes, I said taylor ham, NOT pork roll.
I had a taylor ham, egg and chess sandwich on a roll. It was perfect and everything we needed to coat our uneasy stomachs. This place is adorable and it has a large seating area with waiter service, plus in my book.

My go-to spot for breakfast. Small and a throwback to when it was first opened, the staff is incredible, kitchen is fast, and hits all of my breakfast must haves.
must haves for breakfast to get a good review: syrup in a pourable glass (not high fructose corn syrup in packets), pourable sugar (not packets), refilled coffee/tastey coffee, 1/2&1/2 for coffee, good breakfast potatoes, ability to cook a good egg, good pancakes, and the bonus for these guys is crushed ice!

I had a unique experience dining here over the weekend. Ray was kind enough to close the restaurant for a private party for our family member's birthday party. When we arrived, we were kindly greeted by the staff and made ourselves at home. This place has a comfortable relaxed atmosphere just like someone's living room.
The passed h'ourderves included huge cocktail shrimp with spicy cocktail sauce, fresh vegetables with amazing dip, fillet cooked to perfection on toast, and succulent scallops wrapped in bacon. I stuffed myself before dinner was ever served!
