I am really loving this place for lunch. If I get my shopping done at Fisher Hawaii between 10:30and 10:45am I can get my order in before the lunch crowd shows up.
Parking is MAKAI of the restaurant. (The right side is reserved for Fisher Hawaii patrons.)
Wear a hat and sleeves, or bring an umbrella for shade, as the line heads to the sidewalk and it is HOT!
The daily specials are posted next to the order window. (The Baked Luncheon Meat and Baked spaghetti takes me back!) Fresh Corned Beef sells out quickly on Wednesday, so better to call your order in ahead of time.

Masa's or Ige's is the real deal. If you want local great tasting food, you gotta give this place a shot. It is located in Mapunapuna and parking can be a challenge. Recommend call in your order to limit your wait time.

The food is amazing, I love the Loco Moco, the beef patties are perfect and the gravey is not too rich but so full of flavor. It comes with two perfectly toated pieces of toast.

Having to stay home because of the Covid 19, I was finally able to go out. Had an appointment in Mapunapuna and thought of Masa's. Ordered the Pork Cutlet with rice and Mac.
Meh, it was okay. I mean the cutlet was chewy and tough , MAC salad was really good and creamy but the rest was meh. I should have waited for the Lasagna.

Well do to this Corona virus and cant really go out and sit down and dine in at restaurants my brother husband and I went to try this place in mapunapuna known as Masa's cafeteria. We got there just before closing and thought they properly didnt have choice of food but we were surprised they had food left. I had the mini hamburger steak my husband had the bake spaghetti and my brother had their hamburger curry. All was mini portions and it was alot of course minus the salad but I think you could of ask for the salad. The food was good and will be back again to try the other daily specials

Had to some business in town and dropped in at Masa's for take out lunch. Ordered the baked spaghetti. This turn out to be like what I had in school many many years ago. The small spaghetti had a great taste. It had a good amount of cheese on the top. Being that I went late as they were closing the cheese was getting hard. Loved it anyway.

I ordered the hamburger curry plate and SOS mixed plate. I asked the girl what SOS meant thinking it meant something other than sh*t on a shingle. It does mean sh*t on a shingle and I think I made the girl blush. Not bad, large portions.
On another day, I ordered the beef curry plate. Tasted good but was kinda light on the meat.

This is an old school cafeteria type sit in restaurant. You can also order food from the outdoor counter too. They have daily specials as well as bentos here too. I tried their Hamburger curry. I ordered a mini size and it was generous portion. If you pay with credit card there's a $10 minimum charge.

Recently I had a chance to visit them and the food was great! Masa's is located right next to Fisher Hawaii and parking is pretty non existent. Guessing most of their eat- in customers are people who work in the area. They have regular offerings as well as daily specials.
I chose the chicken curry with da classic two scoops rice and Mac salad. The curry was just right, not too watery

Ate here for the first time with my teammates and it was awesome. Living here my whole life, I had no idea this place existed and they've been here forever. It isn't a place that's seen on the main road unless you drive within the side streets of Mapunapuna. They have a bunch of entree choices to choose from on top of the specials that you can order from too. I had the shoyu pork and roast beef plate which came with rice, mac salad, and A LOT of meats. It wasn't like a 5-star plate, but mannnnn, you definitely get your moneys worth here. The food that I've tasted so far

Awesome place been coming here off and on for more then 20 plus years,, If you want a plate lunch or breakfeast plate that will knock you out when and if you can finish it, This is the place to head to, Good local kine grinds You wont be disappointed,,Thats why Ive been coming here for 20 plus years,,Nuff Sed
