Dutch Quality performed extensive remodeling, including installation of a very expensive cedar roof. Dutch Quality’s use of improper roofing nails caused the shingles to fall off after less than 15 years. Properly installed cedar roofing typically lasts at least 50 years. Had to replace at significant additional expense.

This company was hired to build a large addition, as well as to remodel much of my home. This project took place about 10 years ago, and since that time I have been plagued with some extreme and expensive design issues they fail to take responsibility for. Water drainage causing flooding in basement soon after construction, frozen pipes and kitchen flooring due to failure to insulate along the water pipes from the ground to over three feet up the wall, inadequate joining of old roof structures to new roof. Roof valleys all installed incorrectly, not sealed, caulked or screwed in place causing
