Well established in our community since 1988, we started as a local Cafe and began catering to child care facilities soon after. As our business continued to grow in the child care community as well as with state and local licensing agencies, so did our reputation for both menu diversity and food quality.
Our attention to detail is unmatched. Our deliveries are on time and complete with courteous drivers tending to the needs of our clients. Our food production staff is made up of qualified and certified food handlers. We use local markets to purchase farm-fresh produce whenever possible, we bake much of our own bread and use the leanest grain-fed cuts of beef and poultry.

Since 1988, Jeffery's Catering has proudly served meals to day care facilities and schools located throughout the DC Metropolitan area. We pride ourselves in providing nutritionally-balanced meals, using fresh ingredients that are low in fat and high in vitamins. In most areas, we offer twice-a-day delivery service for programs that receive both breakfast and lunch to insure minimal holding time and optimal food quality at meal times.
Jeffery's daycare menu takes into account both USDA guidelines for CACFP meal reimbursement and "kid-friendly" foods. The menu meets or exceeds the standards for Vitamin C and Vitamin A, providing a dark green or bright orange vegetable three times a week. Fruits are also provided for a Vitamin A source.

I'm a friend of someone who gets these meals through Meals on Wheels. The volunteers who deliver the meals are lovely and nice. The food, however, is pretty awful. Really, sorry: my friend can't even eat it, he just eats cereal and milk and that is not healthy. You get what you pay for, I've told him. But really, the stuff is hardly edible! I do not believe the person who said the recipients have had no complaints. They are surely just too polite to say something.

I wish their drivers would slow down, and stop cutting through the residential neighborhood to save a few seconds. For a company that serves kids, you think they would be a little more concerned with the safety of kids in their own back yard.
A stop sign means the driver should come to a complete stop and look to see if people are walking across the street before making a turn. Vermont is a residential side street, not intended for commercial traffic.
