Riverview in is so adorable! I went with my husband and 2 kids for 1 night. The property is so cute especially since it was decorated for the holidays. We lucked out with great weather so we could hangout on the decks and and enjoy the views. We enjoyed the company of another guest at the communal fireplace as well. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed it on the skybox deck. My only negative is the sound in the room of the joined wall is loud. They do provide ear plugs but still kinda loud. Would be great to conjoin a group with.

I'm not sure how these 5 star reviews can even honestly rate that.
1. Food is TERRIBLE. Nothing that was on their board was served. Sausage biscuit was inedible.
Seriously inedible.
2. Front desk was somewhere else at 3 pm check in. Line was gearing long. No one was there. No answered phone calls.
We all had to walk around the place until we found her.
4. Although cute... the units were noticeably marked..Sky box etc. Had Aman walk into our room...turn around and walk out.
5. No where to sit
6. Units should have dividers on porch. Man next door turned around and could seeme laying in bed

Friendly service, spotless rooms, and great views make this worth the stay. The balconies have rocking chairs, and the breakfast is delicious. The property is aging but well kept with recent fixture updates and beautiful common areas. The drawbacks are the thin walls, and the mattress in our room had a dip. Our room and especially shower were very mobility accessible.

I was somewhat disappointed.
You are paying 4 star price for a 2 star stay when booking here. The view is decent, but the room is uncomfortable and was full of lady bugs and moths. The coffee machine was not working and there was no one to help. If I could've gotten my coffee this morning, I would have given 3 stars. I would book again for location, but only for 1 night. This is not a "vacation" accomodation.

On check in (3:00) there was no one at the front desk and it was locked. Had to call a number and it ten minutes for someone to come. After we got the key had to wait an additional 10 minutes because the room wasn’t clean yet. After we were allowed in the room there was black hair on the pillows. The beds felt like air mattresses. I’m assuming because of the age. Everything was old and not taken care of. Breakfast was supposed to start at 7:30. It was still locked and no one showed up until 7:45. We skipped the breakfast as they had to take your order and we had plans and were behind due to

We stayed in the mountain songbird room and it was very spacious with a hug bathtub. The breakfast was delicious except that you have to order and pick up instead of it being served in the skybox. The grounds were beautiful however there were tons of spiders/webs around the door way- going it a mountain and rustic experience! The saltwater pool was nice and refreshing and we also enjoyed the hiking train nearby!
Secluded and charming but not pristine. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable- on the hard side though.
We would definitely be back! Love the view and the area near lookout

Very nice location. Beautiful views. Salt water pool is a plus. Breakfast is better than most hotels I’ve been to. Staff is very nice. Older Inn that shows it age but overall it is perfect for my four day get… away. Chattanooga is so much better than Nashville in your mid 40’s. Fun but not crazy. Great food and beer everywhere. All within a 10 minute drive to this location. I definitely will come back to the RiverView Inn.

We absolutely love this place. The room, staff, flower gardens fire pit, view from the lcony , and the breakfast menu were all wonderful. It is just down the road from Lookout Mountain, so the view from the balcony is amazing. The room was very clean and welcoming. We highly recommend this Inn if you visit Chattanooga.
