In early 2020 Madison Apothecary established its flagship store located in the tony Upper East Side community of Manhattan. Offering prescription services, this essential business is open 7 days a week to provide clients with the foundational needs of health, wellness and beauty. Madison Apothecary is located on the corner of Madison Avenue & East 83rd Street.
USPS Priority Shipping Estimated delivery time: 3-5 business days (may vary based on order volume). 2-Day and Overnight: Order must be placed by 12pm MST for processing on same day. Orders placed after 12pm MST on Thursday will ship on Friday and will be delivered on the following Monday (via Overnight) or Tuesday (via 2-Day).

I had the worst experience of pharmacy. It’s in my neighborhood, so I’ve been there many times. It’s a very neat place, but the male pharmacist( probably he is an owner) always answers unkindly. I go to the pharmacy to get a medicine but I get nothing usually. And, I get stressed out because of the owner. People in my building felt same thing. They don’t have kid’s medicines, and options are very limited. It seems they want to sell a thing at a high price to upper east people. I don’t recommend this place!

I have the worst needle-phobia and am scared to go to my Doctor for my shots. The Pharmacist @ Madison Apothecary are careful, kind and just simply excellent. It is obvious they really do what they love . They were patient with me and explained to me all potential side effects and how I can protect myself going forward. They have a great assortment of vitamins for the Immune system. Love their Augustinus Bader skincare assortment and love their holiday diffuser scents! Love this place.

I ordered vitamins, which I had previously purchased from my Naturopath. They bottle arrived intact, however upon opening it, I found a yellow powdery substance around the capsules and in the bottom of the bottle. I looked through the capsules by placing them in a bowl and saw no broken capsules.
I reported this, sent photos, spoke to two people via telephone. I have never been recontacted. There is an unusual smell in the bottle, which was not in my other bottle.
I would not take these capsules. I paid $50. For these.

Madison Apothecary is prob the #1 drugstore in New York City. I stumbled upon them after I booked a Covid-19 Vaccine appointment on the vaccine finder website. It is very clean and immaculate inside. The products they carry are amazing and some are very hard to find readily. It is a highly curated and thought out store. Luckily I get to have this Pharmacy in my neighborhood. Five Stars to this gem!

I want to give the best of the best reviews for this Pharmacy located on the corner of East 83rd Street & Madison Avenue. What seemed like the hunger games trying to locate a vaccine for my husband & I was the complete opposite of vaccinating my 3 kids at this Pharmacy. It was easy to make a Covid-19 vaccine appointment on their website ( TheMadisonApothecary.com). The Pharmacist staffed by Madison Apothecary are extremely warm, attentive, caring and very smart. What an amazing find! I came here for my Covid 19 vaccine and not only was Julia the nicest pharmacist I’ve ever had the privilege of meeting, she made the whole process so easy and painless! I couldn’t help but shop around the store - they have the best products for skin and hair. After recommendations from Julia, I walked out with my vaccine, new hair products, body creams, and even a new perfume! Thank you Madison Apothecary and Julia for this incredible experience and my new favorite neighborhood gem!

Love their Product Selection! Love the luxury feel of the store and the openness. Very bright and very homey. They carry a lot of the products that I used to buy at Barneys ( Philip B Shampoos, Christophe Robin, Kerastase, Natura Bisse , Super Goop) and have a great selection of sun care items. I didn't even know they have a pharmacy department as well. Looking forward to filling my prescriptions here. Great addition to the neighborhood Madison Apothecary. This is exactly what we needed.

WOW! what a great addition to the neighborhood. This little gem has quite a selection of niche' brands, it is not to overwhelming. The layout is beautiful and I felt such a welcoming presence there. The young lady working was A+++ helping me with a few skincare items and a candle. Her suggestions where so helpful and accurate. Great place to get your Rx filled and discover some very unique items. Good Job!

Hands down Madison Apothecary in NYC is the ultimate luxury drugstore I've ever been to. They text you when your prescriptions are ready , deliver them if you want to. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by a smart and caring staff. I am glad I found Madison Apothecary and will be a patient and customer there for years to come! Welcome to the neighborhood.
