Established in 1970, Frenchie's Coin & Stamp Mart opened its doors at 423 West Front Street in Monroe, MI and dealt exclusively in coins, stamps, and related supplies. In 1982, after adding Fine Jewelry to their inventory, Frenchie and Mary Gail Beneteau purchased the building located at 15 East Front Street in Historic Downtown Monroe, MI.
They, along with their son Brian, remodeled the structure to house what is now Frenchie's Fine Jewelry, Coins, & Stamps, Inc. From its antique leaded glass doors to its copper and tin ceiling, Frenchie's is truly a unique shopping experience.

In order to create the coin's sharp relief and a mirror-like background, our specialized "proof" minting process requires manually feeding burnished coin blanks into presses where each coin is struck multiple times so the softly frosted and highly detailed images seem to float above the field.The coins are then packaged in a protective lens to showcase and maintain their exceptional finish.

Wonderful!! Amazing work. My granny have gaven me and my boyfriend, her wedding ring set. We came to frenchies to get a size or two up. Was ready within a week. I put it on and all i can say, i started tearing up how beautiful it looked on my finger. Clean and perfect like brand new! Thank you soo much!

The place offers pretty decent gold and silver buying and selling at spot prices if your a coin person or rings its a good place, I would give it 5 stars if the lady behind the counter was more pleasant and more informative about things seems bothered by every question you ask, which seems like everytime im in there i get her but besides that everyone else who works their are nice and pleasant to talk with..
