Katherine is amazing. Since moving back to Eugene I struggled trying to find someone who could give me a decent haircut. Not only did Katherine give me a decent haircut, she cut my hair better than anyone has ever cut it. I love the way it she cuts it and I love the way it grows out after the cut. Katherine listened to what I was hoping to change with the haircut and created a playful, easy care cut that is just what I wanted (but could not have pictured myself)! She also made expert, useful recommendations about how to consume beauty priducts like shampoo and soap without throw-away packaging. I recommend this business highly!

I've been going here for almost 6 years now and no words can describe how wonderful it is! Renee is the one that has always done my hair but everyone who works there treats you like their very own client. I've seen many people come in from a bad day discouraged and stressed but leave refreshed and happy after a simple talk to any of the hair dressers (specific shout out to Tully). There's something about the place that's very special - and it truly is the workers. The facility is clean, ventilated pretty well, and cozy!

Katherine did my hair and I love it! She fixed some problems that I was having from visiting a popular local location. She had some good ideas, understood what I wanted and did it quickly. Awesome root coverage. I spent a lot less time sitting around and ended up with the best style. Products are really good, too! Worthy of a purchase.

I've been going to Katherine since I moved to the Eugene area a little over a year ago. She was recommended to me by a coworker, and I am forever thankful for that rec! Before going to Katherine, I had gotten into the bad habit of keeping my 'summer' blonde year round, which was so damaging to my hair. Ok, I was just visiting the US again and was in Eugene and I needed help for my summer damaged hair. I decided to call up Renee because I knew she could make my hair beautiful again. She developed her own conditioning 'cocktail' and applied that to my dry hair. Then she did another beautiful color application. Lotus Hair Design gets five stars for both quality of work as well as ambiance. I had my hair done by Renee, and she did the best job on my hair EVER, including my many years getting my hair done by fancy salons in the San Francisco Bay Area. In addition, the prices are reasonable and the salon is very clean and attractive. The mellow music sound track is also a plus. I highly recommend this salon!

I'm sure their work is wonderful, but that conversation on the phone didn't seem very welcoming or professional.

My husband and I see Lisa Ann, she is wonderful! My husband found her first, actually, and I couldn't be happier for the recommendation! We moved from the east coast and we previously attended a Redken Salon which we both enjoyed. I am so thankful that we found Lisa Ann, great stylists are hard to find!

I found Katherine, the owner, years and years ago when she worked at a salon that was located under my law firm office downtown. I had a very unfortunate haircut that needed help, pronto. She's been my stylist for almost a decade now. Katherine gives great cuts, and she is amazing with color. Crap, I just gave myself away to all of Yelp. She knows that I have a both busy and lazy, so she always keeps in mind exactly how the color and cut will grow out - it's usually a graceful transition between appointments.

Lotus is a great little salon at a convenient location, especially to students. Frances has been doing my hair (color, cut and extensions) for years and she is the best! It's not often you find a stylist that can constantly upkeep a blonde color without looking brassy or fake. The salon is always clean inside and they use top, high-end hair products.

Just got my haircut by Nikki at Lotus and she did a fantastic job! A lot of stylist rush through a men's haircut, but not Nikki. She really took her time and made sure she did a good job. I'd definitely recommend Nikki if you're a guy and looking for a great haircut. Nikki is no longer working at Lotus. She now works at Just Hair. Same great haircut though!

Located on the backside of a laundry mat & in an alley, Lotus looks a little ghetto from the outside, but the inside is comfortable & super cute! A small place (only a few chairs), but I was able to schedule an appointment with Tully quickly (even despite it being graduation week). I paid $40 for a wash, cut, & style plus some great conversation. Tully was awesome! I will definitely be back to see him again. My only complaint: they don't take cards. Otherwise this would have been a 5 star rating.
