We also believe that we don't need to try to create a story in order to make a great wedding film. All we need to do is capture the story that is already there. The goal is an authentic film that is true to who you are.

We believe that video is the best tool for capturing the real moments of your wedding day for you and your family to cherish and relive for the rest of your lives. This is what excites us the most about being wedding film makers. It honestly feels like the greatest gift we could give a new couple embarking on a new adventure together.
After four years of creating wedding films, I felt the need to reevaluate our films and better hone in our style and vision. Of course nothing is really new is it? But you can take something old and make it new. Old school wedding videos (you know, like from your parents days) get a lot of flak, and rightly so.
Of course weddings vary in terms of schedule, but we have found that, for the typical wedding, the sweet spot for being able to capture the majority of the important moments throughout the day is 8 hours. So if your ceremony is at 3 and we get there at one, that gives us two hours before the ceremony to get a lot of good stuff, and that gives us until nine to capture everything else.

My wife Janice and I used Estrella Films to film our August 27, 2017 wedding in Pebble Beach, California. David and Colleen Estrella work with many Wedding Planners and they worked with our Wedding Planner, Mandie Nack, from A Sparkling Event. All we can say is that Estrella films did an outstanding job on filming our wedding. We loved hiring Estrella Films to capture our wedding day. David was so accommodating and asked great questions to really understand what we wanted to remember most from the day. He does a great job of telling the story of your relationship and how it all weaves into the Big Day! We looked at lots of videographer options, and Estrella was the perfect combination of high quality and affordability.

David and Colleen produced the most beautiful wedding video! The essential moments were shot beautifully, but it was the elegant weaving of images and sound that really told the story and captured the day perfectly. I wish I had a video of how ecstatic I was when I watched my promo film from Estrella Films! I'm a newborn photographer and I met David and Colleen through a local photo group.
