Kings & Queens Childcare Center was founded when I left private contracting for the Department of Justice for over 21 years to care for aging parents and to provide support to needy families who could not find quality care for their children due to long waiting lists for infant slots.
Our doors were opened early when family members and friends obtained vouchers and insisted I open immediately because they were unhappy with their current childcare situations. We strive hard to provide quality care for children and are proud of our results when children advance from our program ready and enthusiastic to attend their new school in the head start or pre-school programs.

Services
Our curriculum promotes interaction, intentional teaching, small group learning, individualized instruction, conversations, play and positive home-school. I believe all curriculums can work if you stay abreast, make and implement the constant changes in early care as soon as possible. In my classroom, I'm the onlooker helping and guiding children when needed.
As part of The First Lady Michelle Obama Healthier School Challenge, Kings & Queens Childcare Center follows the guidelines of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). We provide nutritious foods that contribute to the wellness, healthy growth, and development of young children.
By serving only healthy foods, encouraging opportunities for physical activity, and nutrition education we have transformed our environment into a place where healthy eating and physical activity are experienced and learned. We are continuously working hard to do our very best work in keeping our children healthy.
