Brian Mulligan was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1996. After receiving his Bachelor's degree in 1991 from the University of Florida, he attended the John Marshall Law School and graduated with his Juris Doctor in 1996. He spent several years prosecuting misdemeanor and felony charges while working for the State Attorney's office in Pinellas and Pasco Counties.
In seventh grade he was awarded the Take Stock in Children scholarship, a "full ride" to a four-year Florida college. Take Stock in Children was founded in the early 1990s to combat the persistent dropout rate that plagued Tampa's public schools.
Created by a local education foundation with both public and private funding, it provides scholarships, mentors and comprehensive services for high-potential, low-income students from middle school through high school, and transition to college and careers.Through Take Stock, Brendan was able to attend Saint Leo University, graduating with a 3.84 g.p.a. in 3 years.

If you need a great law team, Brian mulligan and his paralegal Kim are the best. In July of 2019 I had the unfortunate event to be involved in a car accident. Laporte, Mulligan & Werner-Watkins came highly recommended. I contacted their office and spoke directly to Craig Laporte who instantly made me feel a lot better with the situation. Craig walked me through the steps I needed to complete and answered all my questions. From day one, when I called Craig with a question, I received a quick answer. 1 star for the phone call after my 1 star review offering to file the motions after allowing 45 days to go by with nothing being done on my case.
The reasons why I'm sharing my bad experience:
• Brian Mulligan took on my case insuring me that such would happen. Such didn't happen.
• While the case was ongoing, Kim called and scheduled an appointment for me to come in and discus evidence. When I arrived to the office at said time, Brian informed me that they had the wrong evidence.
• When Brian discussed a plea
