I wanted to rate Hostess 5 stars for our wedding, and for the food and day of appearance and help with rentals I still will! Everything was so tasty and beautifully displayed and my guests are still RAVING about the donut wall. Everything at cocktail hour was fabulous and the variety of food and friendliness of the staff was wonderful. There was so much good work done and we really appreciate it! It takes a lot to pull off an event like this and they totally delivered there- our guests never had an inkling about anything below.

We would highly encourage anyone that has a special event to work with Hostess!!!! We were over the moon with the quality of food and service for the price. We are one of the couples who had to postpone their previous weddings plans due to Covid and plan a last minute backyard ceremony. Even though we were planning it from another state and on a tight time line, Donna was so warm, accommodating, responsive and informative. We came up to the Boston area last minute to do a tasting and even with two weddings that day, they made sure we got to try everything we wanted with a neat care package.

The food was good; the set up looked appetizing; they were precisely on time; they brought everything we talked about plus a little more; and they were easy and pleasant to work with. I hired this company based on reviews and several phone calls with them. But, because I didn't have a reference from anyone I knew, I worried. We were doing what they call a drop off--bring food, drinks, place settings and serving stuff, set it all up, and leave until pick up later in the day; no staffing needed--for a brunch for 20. They did a wonderful job. The food was very good. The price was reasonable

Working with Hostess Catering was such a positive experience, I can't praise them enough. I was hosting a wedding shower for a bride-to-be who was both vegetarian and gluten-free. How on earth does one put together an appealing meal for a diet like that! I worked mostly with Donna who did not hesitate for a second. She was cheerful and upbeat and had a thousand wonderful suggestions. I had finalized my menu options and signed their agreement but they cancelled on me out of the blue! The reason they gave me was that I did not send them a check to secure the date. Their terms and conditions states that they need to receive the check no later than 10 days prior to the actual event date. There were 40 days to go until my event so it was confusing as to why they canceled on me. Before they sent me the cancellation email, I had also emailed and asked them to confirm that my date was secure to which they never replied. Hostess Catering recently catered our sons bar mitzvah and did a fantastic job. Donna took care of everything for us and made it a seamless event. I felt like I was in very capable hands and could just relax and enjoy the party! And we had tons of complements on the food which was delicious. We could not have been more pleased with their service (the waitstaff were all super attentive and very friendly) or the food. Thank you for a great event!

I can't rave enough about Donna and Visnja and their amazing team.
First, I wanted to create a garden party fantasy to celebrate the wedding of my son to his childhood sweetheart. I wanted a tented environment totally unlike the usual spread of 10-person tables, centerpieces and dance floor. Hands down, one of the most positive experiences of hiring a caterer in my life. Visnja and Donna are two of most charming, friendly people I have had the pleasure of meeting. They were always very prompt in returning communication. They have a real eye for how things should be set up as well. We thought we had set up everything for our wedding reception dinner before Visnja and Donna arrived. When we returned they had transformed the space into something truly magical. To top it all off, the food was outstanding, especially considering how much we paid. They were very reasonable with their pricing
