Hiring Capers for our wedding was the best decision we’ve ever made! The people were great, and the food and drinks were out of this world. Everyone we worked with was extremely helpful and professional throughout the entire process. They guided us through the daunting task of designing our menu and beverage program, as well as assisted in our furniture and linen rentals. We always felt like we were in good hands.

We hired Capers to cater our wedding at the recommendation of our wedding planner and we could not have been happier with our experience with them! They have a huge menu selection and will customize/add anything you request and the food was amazing! We ended up offering 3 entrees instead of 2 because we really couldn't pick just 2 that we wanted. We got a steak dish, a lobster dish, and a vegetarian pasta dish, as well as multiple appetizers and some late-night snacks and everything was hot and fresh and the food was so good. In both cases, the food was fantastic, the service extraordinary and the people you work with (Catherine!) couldn't be more professional. We chose Capers Catering as our caterer for our wedding at the Lyman Estate in September. The admin/planning staff (Catherine and Kate) were so easy to work with, and they helped us customize the menu to reflect our tastes, budget, and the dietary restrictions of our guests. The food was incredible! We received so many compliments from our guests on the quality of the food (especially the mini lobster rolls and the pumpkin ravioli). This was the 2nd year in a row that we used Caper's for our company Holiday party. They are AMAZING. Kristin and Kerri are the 2 incredible women that I worked with to finalize all the details and they were so easy to work with. Our event was last night and the staff was so professional and it really made our event perfect. We had Kathleen as our bartender and she was such a joy! Aaron the event manager for the night was incredible as well. The food, as always was delicious and displayed so beautifully. We went the Mac and cheese station, a carving station and fondue station for dessert! Cant forget

Kate and the entire staff at Capers were absolutely wonderful going over different options and helping us put a menu together. We were so blown away when we tasted the food. It did not taste like food you'd expect from a caterer or at a wedding, it truly was like a fine dining experience. The handmade butternut squash agnolotti was by far, one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had in my life and the heath bar brownie bites were absolutely out of this world. They are absolute pros and every bite was spectacular.

Choosing a caterer was probably one of the harder decisions throughout the wedding planning process for us, but Capers' professionalism, experience, and excellent food made the choice a no-brainer. I need to start this review by putting it in context-I had NO idea what I was doing when it came to wedding planning. None. Completely lost. Kristin from Capers COMPLETELY made everything so easy. She was so responsive and answered any and all random questions. She helped us with a timeline and diagrammed how the room would be set up and she was on top of EVERYTHING.

We used Capers for our June 2014 wedding at the Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation (CRMI), upon the recommendation of our wedding planner (Emilie Chang of Pink Orchid Weddings). From the tasting we did in June 2013 to the delicious cupcakes that ended our wedding reception, we had a wonderful experience with Capers staff. Caper's was AMAZING! I contacted a few caterers and Caper's was the first to respond and also provided the best price and menu. Our contact at Caper's was Kristin and she was so wonderful about getting back to my emails quickly and helping me with anything extra for the wedding (for example, they took care of making "reserved" signs for the ceremony). Capers catered the wedding of Zachary Braiker and Purmina Thakre. The event was fabulous. The appetizers were yummy, and wonderful. The food was beautifully presented, and incredibly yummy. I had the Sea Bass, my husband had chicken, but I did not get to taste it. He would not share.
The desert included bananas foster made in front of the crowd. I had the blackberry crisp that was served in a cute little jar. There were other choices that looked wonderful too.
Everyone we talked to loved the food, and the event.
