Amazing service, food, and bar. We were up from Austin, TX over the summer (my wife is from Canandaigua) and were so impressed that we decided to have her big birthday dinner there along with friends & family on October. They put on an amazing dinner and took great care of everyone. Food for the whole table was delicious (don't remember what everyone ordered, but they all ranted and raved about how good it was).

This is a small but charming Italian restaurant. The atmosphere is lively because the room was filled with adult family groups enjoying a great meal. Our waitress was sweet and attentive. The food was outstanding--difficult to choose between the many enticing options! The chef/owner stopped by twice to check on how we were enjoying our meal. The price of the meal was surprisingly reasonable, even with a bottle of wine and we had enough left-overs for a 2nd meal. We can't wait until we are in the area again and can return!

Hadn’t been here in twenty years, but was in the area with friends and came back. Same homey, warm welcome-casual and the food was absolutely fantastic. Everything was the right temperature, spice, taste and presentation-from the wine to my chicken parm and my husband’s seafood di mare. Loved it! And will come back sooner!

Lovely Italian restaurant with excellent service and food. The herbed butter that comes with the bread was amazing and all 4 of the entrees we ordered - (lasagna, shrimp and scallop fra diavolo, chicken riggis, and pork braciola (one of the specials) were all delicious. Our waitress Syd (not sure of the spelling) was a delight and provided a fun atmosphere. Recommend making a reservation because it was busy and you'll want to go here.

Another fabulous meal! I got veal parm with risotto, my husband & father-in-law got lasagna and my mother-in-law got fra divalo. We also got a spice plate which I got to show my in-laws & husband how to eat. Our server was Sydney. She was also fab!! I cannot express how much this place is wonderful. Joe and his staff are awesome. Maybe some time I'll be able to get dessert!!

This place was amazing. Food was so good. My husband got the shrimp and scallop diovlo spaghetti and I had the special which was Mediterranean shrimp and scallops. The sauce on mine was to die for. We also has 2 cannolis that were just perfect. We love going to places where it is family owned and they come out and see how your dinner was. You just don't see that anymore. So down to earth.
There was also a father and son eating and the owner came out and asked the little boy if he wanted a meatball and the boy was just so excited and shocked on how big it was. Just to see the smiles from everyone

Front of the house is awful. Don't bother making a reservation as they completely overbook in the summer. 3 out of 3 times we made a reservation, showed up on time, and then waited more than 30 minutes. We thought 1 or 2 bad experiences might be outliers, but not 3 in a row. The food is good, but we with are through with the bad customer service.

We have gone here several times and have raved about the food. This visit we noticed prices increased and food sizes and quality decreased. Then we found a winged bug under a pile of vegetables on our plate! We were eating outside but there were no bugs around. Certainly none climbing under our food. We told the waitress. Next Joe the owner came out in a chef uniform claiming to be the chef who has "worked there 10 years". He was rude, combative and condescending in front of 2 other tables. He accused us of lying and said we were implying someone sabotaged our food? I told him he was out of line

Have heard good things about this restaurant. My son wanted to go here for his birthday celebration so I made reservations. Walked in the door that we just guessed was the entrance, and the bar was packed. We waited about 5 minutes until we were acknowledged. Got to our table and immediately someone brought us water. Then our waitress and her trainee came and asked us if we wanted something to drink. Good. So we ordered and we got our salads and soups. Our main course came and it began....constant scanning of our table to see if we were done. I mean, it was so obvious that they were pushing us

Delicious! And, the hostess was beyond accommodating. After a disaster somewhere else for our friend's 29th wedding anniversary (they forgot our reservation & were short a cook), Casa De Pasta got our party of 6 in at the last minute on a Saturday night! The eggplant Parm, Tenderloin Marsala, and all dishes were amazing! Everyone was blown away. Our server, Deb, was a seasoned professional and a sweetheart. The chef even came out to be sure our meals were perfect. He and his wife were a team in the kitchen. That was a special touch. Thank you!

We ordered food online and were waiting for it to be done when the back door to see into the kitchen was open. We watched one of the chefs smoking and not having a mask on (during this pandemic) while he was preparing food. I went in and told the people in the front and while I was walking back to my car, the same chef waved and closed the kitchen door. Very disgusted!! This would have been my first time trying this place, but I will NEVER be eating here.

Why I keep returning! The service is always friendly! I think it is the Owner him self that always lets us have a seat. We went there years ago and did not call, as always. He gave us a table and always makes a joke when we arrive for a visit. Dry hummer but I love it. Just like when I visit The Bay Street in Sodus. Almost Always makes room for us.

Our takeout order for six was perfectly prepared as ordered. While to be expected it is rarely the case from most establishments. Understandable really! The food was delicious and fresh. I love the smooth tomato sauce. The salad was crisp and a whole loaf of hot bread was included. The desserts were disappointing but we were stuffed after our entrees. Prices were fair to a little high.

We have been enjoying Casa for years, as does the rest of my extended family. Nice to have a drink at their updated bar before heading into dinner. Lots of specials every night, reservations are helpful for prime times or parties over 4. Bread and butter often make me full before dinner comes, but I don't care because I always try to bring home half my dinner for later. Traditional Red sauce, lasagna is meaty, cheesy and to die. Great soups including my fav, italian wedding. Give them a try and go hungry!

We enjoyed the calamari with banana peppers and lemon, done perfectly. Lobster Bisque was delish. Their take on Italian Wedding soup had tomatoes and was very good. Chicken French was moist and I appreciated that it was not over sauced, just the perfect amount. Order the risotto and broccoli with it. The risotto was cheesy and creamy. I'm unable to fully rate this, as unfortunately I was unable to try the food. Went on a Thursday evening (Halloween), as it was my daughter's birthday and she specifically requested this restaurant that she has been wanting to go to. Checked online first to be sure they were open, arrive to find doors locked and lights out. My son-in-law messaged the business through facebook, only to receive a note some time later that said " sorry, out trick or treating with kids.". Really?? Everyone in the whole restaurant was out trick or treating?? Seemed unprofessional. Guess we won

I've been going to Casa de Pasta since I was a child. It's always been a solid choice for Italian. I always get the gnocchi, and it's delicious. It's a small place with a good atmosphere. The service was very good and all of the staff were very friendly. I will be returning the next time I'm in Canandaigua. I would recommend it to anyone who is around that area.

Had an excellent meal here. Dinner started with a salad with house made Bleu cheese dressing. Bread served with was hot & crunchy. I had the special of the day which was veal shank covered with marsala & mushrooms; wonderful! Meal ended with tirimisu, best I ever had! Prices might of been a tad high but when eating this quality it is a minor issue. Also want to say that the service was amazing!!

Great Italian food. The staff was so friendly and always readily available. The wine selection was very nice for a small restaurant. My boyfriend and I started with the fried raviolis. They were the perfect amount of crunchy and cheesy. The dipping sauce came warmed which is nice. For entree I got the gnocchi which tasted like true homemade pasta. Sauce had the perfect amount of red pepper flake. My boyfriend got the bolognese. He claimed it was delicious. Sadly, we didn't get dessert but we will be back to try again!

Sooooooo delicious. Their potato gnocchi is amazing, and they are not stingy on their seafood. Went their with my parents, we each ordered something different. 2 of us ordered off the specials board, and the other 2 ordered off the menu. Everything was excellent. My mother ordered the scallop pasta and it came with 6 LARGE scallops. Everything had plenty of trimmings, not just plates of pasta. And homemade pasta as well, as stated above the gnocchi was delish. Waitstaff was super friendly, and service was prompt. Would definitely go again. Extensive wine list.

My boyfriend and I ended up here as a consequence of the long wait-time at Rio Tomatlan on a Saturday night. I'm so glad we came, as I ended up having a better culinary experience than I ever have at Rio. We didn't have to wait, although the dining room was otherwise full, and our server was helpful and attentive. The complementary bread and garlic butter were notably good... we ate the whole basket and then asked for a little bit more, and our server kindly obliged. I ordered chicken french with fettuccine and was very satisfied. The generous portion ended up making two meals for me
