Services
New Choices has an incredible team of professionals working together to help form a better future for our clients and their families. We believe it is important for the entire staff - behavioral health technicians, clinical staff, upper management, and ownership - to be meticulously selected and rigorously trained.
The nexus of the idea that became Camino Pathways was the recognition that addiction and substance abuse are chronic illnesses. For the past fifty years or more, our community has treated addiction as an acute illness. We give an individual 30 days in treatment, pronounce them cured, and then scratch our heads when within a year he or she is not sober and in good health.
Your first step down the Camino Pathway Program is our month-long residential treatment option. Working with our trained professionals, you will begin to develop your personalized Strategic Living Map that will guide you through each step of your treatment process and your transition into a new life as a new you.
The Day Treatment pathway offers patients the opportunity to benefit from the New Choices approach to recovery on a daily basis with the flexibility to return home in the evening. If you do not need structured care each day to keep your commitments, function well and remain abstinent and have sufficient support in the evening and weekends, PHP may be your best option.
The Outpatient component of the Camino Pathway provides our program's services to clients on a regular basis, for constant support and steady growth. At this point in the Camino Pathway, our guests have reached homeostasis. They have returned to a sense of balance within themselves and are beginning to re-enter the world.

New Choices Treatment Center made an remarkable impact on my life! It is a recovery center that is truly unique. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are very clean and well decorated. The staff and counselors are very caring, thoughtful and beyond knowledgeable. There is an amazing Chef that cooks homemade meals everyday all day. The therapy that you get is intensely life changing.
They offer yoga and meditation, art, and horticulture. They create a individual recovery plan that fits each persons needs. The Staff makes you feel at home and they incorporate fun into your days of recovery. I

My name is norma I sometimes use my mothers name, nonetheless my high rating is because of the staff only. The doctors and nurses were very professional nice and genuinely cared. Most of the staff was also very nice and welcoming and I believe they sincerely cared. I was only there a week and attended about five classes. One of the classes that I went to was very informative. I would have liked to have some handouts to review later. The one women’s class I went too, the entire hour was filled with people showing pictures of their families from their cell phone. I did not participate. I thought

This was my first time to reach out for help with my drinking problems and addiction. Needless to say I was extremely scared and nervous! From the moment of the facility picking me up to transport me there it started with a very comforting car ride with all sorts of questions being answered. When I got there I was immediately greeted with smiles and more comfort! All the staff were sooooo amazing! The facility itself was very nice and well maintained. The group sessions taught me things about my disease that I would have not known about if it wasn’t for the lessons. They offer great therapy,

Absolutely the worst treatment program. From the start the clinical director was not welcoming at all. I was made to feel like a liar by tech, clinical, and nursing when I had previously explained to physician how ill I was. I was threatened my first day off detox with a behavioral contract due to not attending one group that day. Nursing staff felt compelled to lash out at me after barging into my room unannounced by knock. I did in fact become very ill during my stay with an upper respiratory infection which took an entire one week to get a simple antibiotic. Nursing staff is not knowledgeable

My experience at New Choices was life changing. Their dual diagnosis program puts a lot of emphasis on mental health on top of their rock solid substance abuse program. The staff is incredibly kind, relatable and dedicated to their clients. The client community was so welcoming and helpful. The facility is clean and beautiful. The residential suites are very nice and chef Jason is a phenomenal cook. Upon leaving the treatment center I genuinely felt like I had a new chance at life! SHOUT OUT TO ALL NCTC STAFF! THANK YOU!

New Choices saved my life. I have never been in treatment before. I am an alcoholic. I spiraled out of control in late August and was going to die. I decided to go to NCTC for 30 days. By far the best decision I have ever made. The staff is amazing, they really care about you and are passionate about getting you sober. NCTC is very structured and provides a safe, caring environment so you can focus on yourself and recovery. The treatment is second to none. All of the counselors run therapy groups that have an agenda designed on recovery. I am now 63 days sober and still participate in their Intensive

My son just finished his inpatient treatment. This center is top notch and integrates exercise in the program. The program is called "Recover Strong" They have doctor's and nurses on staff and specialized counselors with psychology degrees. They kept in touch with me every step of the way and let me know how my son was doing. There were professional men there like my son and he has made connections with them. He love the program too and i on his way to a sober life. They connected him with a sober living house that he will stay at for awhile. It was very nice and he likes the guys living there
