Blood flow restriction therapy involves the use of a pneumatic cuff (tourniquet) proximally to the muscle that is being trained. In upper body it will be attached at armpit and in lower body at hip. Our physical therapist will inflate the cuff to a specific pressure with the aim of obtaining partial arterial and complete venous occlusion.
Cupping is a soft tissue technique that goes back Hippocrates. This treatment is a massage technique in which local suction is created on the skin using plastic cups. Cupping can be used on any region of the body. Cupping increases blood circulation and is effective to release tight muscles, fascia and reduce high tone.

Everyone that works at Liberty Rehab is very professional, knowledgeable & skilled in their fields. They treat their patients like family, making the entire experience very pleasant and satisfying. I’ve been a patient at that location on & off for at least 10 years & refuse to go anywhere else when a new physician refers me to a different facility.

As a disgruntled Vietnam Veteran I was sceptical about the knee therapy I was to get at a place assigned by the VA. To my surprise and amazement, the treatment and care I have received has been excellent. My therapist, Rebecca Cantu, has shown great compassion and understanding in working with my particular therapy needs. I finally feel progress is being done to ameliorate my pain and suffering. Thank YOU, Rebeca.

She’s very knowledgeable about her profession and explains the type of physical therapy she is doing for me in such a way a fully understand what she is talking about. They are very good about answering questions I may have with regards to my treatment which in turn gives me a better understanding of what we are doing to correct my issue. If it were possible to give 10 stars.... I would do it.... My introduction to Liberty Rehabilitation followed my having a Total Reverse Shoulder Replacement of my right shoulder at age 75. This happens to be my dominant shoulder and was done February 2018. From the first day walking into their facility I was given complete and accurate information regarding the journey ahead in order to get back the use of my right arm/shoulder.... The therapist assigned to me was not sugar coating it and her level of knowledge and expertise in my rehabilitation gave me the confidence with her help.... I COULD

I was impressed with the unpretentious affable professionalism. The staff was cordial made people feel welcome and Phyllis the head physical therapist was able to convey a sense of complete competence and yet was approachable not only by us patients but also by her staff with whom she worked in a very collegial way. It was difficult not to anticipate benefiting from actual Hands-On therapy but also from the therapeutic milieu.

All the specialists at Liberty Rehabilitation are great, professional and very helpful. My back felt 80% better after the very first visit. I can now get in and out of my car without difficulty and able to sit and walk for longer periods. I never have to wait and their smiles encourage me to keep exercising.
