As an independent drug & alcohol treatment center, our caring recovery staff make decisions on patient care in-house. You or your loved one are given the best chance of recovery knowing that your best interests are always at the forefront of our decisions. The San Antonio Recovery Center in San Antonio, Texas is not your typical drug and alcohol treatment center.
Founded in 2010, we abide by the philosophy that recovery from drug and alcohol addiction requires a full spectrum of treatment, not just a focus on one area. Our leading recovery staff is comprised of some of the most dedicated, compassionate, and understanding men and women in the industry. Many on our clinical team are in recovery themselves and work a 12 step program.

Services
If you're struggling with drug or alcohol addiction, you're not alone, and help is available. The drug and alcohol addiction rehab programs at San Antonio Recovery Center are specially designed for each patient. Our clinical staff goes to great lengths to design addiction rehab programs that meet each patient's particular needs, which can include medical, emotional, physical, and spiritual concerns.
There's no one-size-fits-all approach to addiction recovery. There's also no such thing as a quick fix in the fight against addiction. Addiction therapy can take time and is most successful when it's comprehensive and multifaceted. At San Antonio Recovery Center, we incorporate a variety of addiction therapies into our patients' treatment plans.
As part of alcohol or drug addiction, you may only focus on the problems that your addiction causes in your life. But there are others affected by your substance abuse. Your family suffers from the disease of addiction as much as you do, in many ways. This is why family therapy is so helpful, necessary and positive as part of addiction treatment.
Addiction is an extremely powerful disease. Overall, this is because it affects the pleasure and habit circuits in the brain. While many people were once able to use in moderation, eventually substance abuse becomes hard to control. If you're struggling with addiction, you may notice you use despite outstanding circumstances.
When you're trying to get clean from alcohol or drugs, there are many different treatment options available for you. For some people, starting new medications for their recovery is somewhat worrisome. Although the medicines are non-narcotics, some would instead take a more natural approach to recovery.

SARC saved my life. My life had become unmanageable and was spiraling out of control. I was still working my full time successful career, but it was only a matter of time before I could have lost everything I’ve spent my life building. Tired of waking up with a black box of wine on my nightstand I threw lord knows what into my suitcase and checked into Cagnon for 38 days. For a girl accustomed to being in complete control I was petrified. I was a mess. The staff was so welcoming and walked me through the process. Was I ready to take 12 weeks off of work? It was life or death and I chose life

There are many great qualities about this recovery center, but the most valuable of them all, is that this facility provides life long educational classes and skills in maintaining long term recovery. The owners, counselors, and support technicians here genuinely care about each person that they meet. There are great doctors and supportive mentors all around. They provide routine, meditation, healthy eating, group classes. Without SARC I would not be who I am today. Today I am living a life that I am most grateful for. Thank you to Raul, Karen, and Steven for all the love and help you gave me so

I was a client at SARC in April/May 2019 and to put it simply, they SAVED my life. While there I was truly able to accept the fact that I was an alcoholic and learn the tools needed in order to live a life of recovery. I was able to meet and connect with a group of people that I am still close too today. The staff and counselors were amazing and it was obvious that they truly care about their clients. The food is absolutely amazing too lol! At the end of my stay, I was able to get into the SARC sober living home, where I resided for 6 months; this was the best decision of my life and undoubtedly

Like so many others have said, SARC saved my life. I went in to treatment in May of 2019 and lived in one of the sober houses for ten months. I went in to treatment sort of knowing what to expect in a rehab setting. I love how the setting was like a little home and we were all safe there. It didn't hurt that there was a dog that lived there too. I loved the all-womens groups and a special activity every Tuesday called Jahari. My counselor seemed hand-picked for me because she was kind, funny, and loving, but also firm, direct, and a little tough-love. If I ever needed help again, I would go back

I have nothing but love for this place. When I came here, I was ready to take my own life because I was so tired of losing the people that mattered to me because of my alcoholism. I had tried before but relapsed. I was truly broken and unsure of any future. From the moment I arrived everyone treated me with love. I never felt judged just welcomed. I was able to talk to many of the staff and they were always knowledgeable. They were honest and real with everything which is what I needed. The dynamic of sharing chores and learning to live again amongst people while sober was not only needed but very

I am full of sincere gratitude for being a part of San Antonio Recover Center Sober Living. SARC has given me the opportunity to live with others that have felt the same hopeless feeling I have felt. They offered me a serene, secure, and safe haven to look within myself and restore the self esteem and self worth that I could never find in myself. I have found peace, happiness, and serenity that I've never had before. I'm learning how to truly live and I am honored to be apart of this process.

When I arrived to the treatment center (with my family) I was filled with anxiety, stress, & the fear of the unknown. I knew what I was about to go through would be rough. One of the staff members could tell how scared I was, she was welcoming and got me started on the intake process. Another staff member took time to speak to my family members to give them some insight on how the process would start. I love the fact that just about all the staff members are in recovery. It makes the process easier because I could relate and open up about experiences I went through. Being around like-minded people
