Carol was warm and welcoming. She made us feel comfortable asking questions and handling the items we were interested in. I found a beautiful beaded necklace created by Larry Joe, shown, and could not be happier with it. We look forward to visiting Hoel Indian Shop, Carol and David again in the future! Hoel is a must stop destination if you are interested in authentic Indian craftsmanship, antique and contemporary! Very nice selection of baskets and other items as well.

First - driving down the switchbacks to Sedona from Flagstaff through Oak Creek Canyon isn’t beautiful enough, you’ll find half way down on the right- a really “cool” go to place to stop and shop!
Hoel’s Indian Shop!
You want something to remember your trip to AZ! Here’s the turquoise place to shop! You don’t have the crowds, displays are beautiful, you know all their pieces are real and authentic!
Visit Dave or Carol. I’m a local in Flagstaff, and my car seems to turn down their driveway !
Beautiful service- Quality!! It’s not only jewelry either!

The shop was full of beautiful jewelry from local tribes. The owner was super nice. I didn't have my credit card with me and he let me pay with PayPal. Would stop again!

The shop looked like they exploit native artists buying their products for cheap and over-pricing it for thier own benefit. No 'fair trade'.

My husband & I stopped at Hoel's after reading a recommendation in a guidebook. It was as described, a wonderful source for Native American jewelry & art. We ended up buying 2 medium sized bowls (Hopi & Acoma artist) & 2 small seed pots that we just couldn't resist.
Carol very well informed about the artists and incredibly helpful. She mailed the pieces home for us. Everything arrived promptly and in perfect condition.
So glad we discovered this shop and will be sure to visit again when we are in Sedona.
Thank you!

Hi Carole....My daughter & son-in -law had their wedding rings made years ago by Isaiah Ortiz & they were just perfect! .They had to send them back months ago to have new stones put in them, and have heard nothing since then... My daughter is very sick with cancer and really wants to get their rings back.. She cannot travel now & I'm trying to help her. Can you please help me to help her? I would be so grateful. Thank you...

Hoel's is located right before mile marker 384 (in the direction headed towards Flagstaff). Thankfully there were signs by the main road but unless you're driving slow on the one lane road you may pass it and have to double back. Thats what we had to do when we visited this shop.

When we arrived there were plenty of parking spots but since this shop is located at a home, the parking is actually the driveway of the house. Parking spots are limited (approx 4 spots). We arrived on a rainy day and the place still drew a crowd. The authentic indian gifts were beautiful but prices were

Love this stop in Sedona! My first time was 3 years ago and I never forgot it! So went back again recently, still the best pieces of jewelry for a great price. It's family owned and has a homey feel to it. Thank you Carol for helping me out both times. So sweet and welcoming, I will see you the next time I'm in town!

When going on vacation, I say this shop is a Must See! Any kind of occasion, I know you will find just what you need. Artisan's that you won't believe with works that are amazing! The Watters family owns this gem and they are the most lovely and wonderful people. No detail is spared. They are fine art collectors and have a discerning eye for the spectacular. Carol is a beautiful woman that knows beauty. A keep sake, wedding gift? Birthday gift? Pamper me? You can find it all and a whole lot of wonderful family attention. This place is amazing!

My husband and I found out about Hoel's from a local business when I could not find a ring by a certain artist. We found Hoel's to have a wonderful selection of jewelry and other Native American art such as pottery, rug, and kachinas. They had what I was looking for and were willing to resize the ring and mail to our home. Their customer service is wonderful, they kept in touch during the mailing process. We will being stopping in again the next time we visit Arizona.

My wife and I have been visiting Hoel's for many years. It's one of our favorite spots in the area. Their location on Oak Creek is beautiful and out of the mainstream shopping areas of Sedona. Carol Watters has assembled a wonderful selection of jewelry, rugs, pottery, baskets, kachina's, and other special things for casual use and serious collectors. Their inventory changes regularly so there is always something new and interesting to see. There are many places to buy Indian pieces but with Hoel's you know your purchase is authentic and backed up by a long standing professional
