Shelley Carpets is family-owned and operated by the Brownings, who were born and raised in the Sarasota, Florida area. The Brownings purchased Shelley Carpets in 1987 from former owner, James Shelley. After doing business in Sarasota for 17 years, they purchased their current showroom location in 2004.
Located at 6050 Palmer Blvd. in Sarasota, Shelley Carpets offers a 6,000 square foot showroom and a 5,000 square foot warehouse. We always have a large inventory on hand to fulfill our customers' flooring needs on demand! We strive to be involved with our local community, supporting local schools, organizations, and youth sports through volunteer work.

I Purchased carpet for my home Before I put up for sale and for my office and I have been very impressed by this company both times. Most recently I called them to replace some office carpet. They had commercial carpet in stock which is nice. I told them I needed it in three days. They worked like crazy to find a Saturday installer but couldn’t find one but then rearranged the schedule to get it on the next best day for me which was a Tuesday. The installer was professional and they did a great job. The whole time they were very responsive. Great local carpet company
