The worst experience ever. I called them in July (July 12th to be exact) to inquire if they accept the insurance we have and if they can do dental fillings to my tooth right away as it fell off and there’s a huge hole now that’s not only hurting my tongue but is starting to become very sensitive. I was told I had to be seen first. And the earliest… appointment they have for me at the time was at 2:30 PM in August 18, 2021. That’s OVER a month. I still accepted it given the great reviews. The reviews here on Yelp convinced me to make an appointment with Dr. Butler. Then the COVID-19 hit, sent us into isolation, and placed dentists and hygienists at risk. Our first appointment was canceled and rescheduled.

I wanted to make sure that I had a couple visits in to make an honest review. So far, I have been to this office three times(once for a cleaning, two for treatment plan work). I have to say the staff have been courteous, professional, and upfront. I really like that they give you a copy of the treatment plan and that you will know what you are paying up front. Scheduling appointments have been a breeze and they tend to have a lot of openings. I am seeing Dr.Butler and I am pleased with her work and beside manner.

I went to Dr. Lopez last June for a cleaning and a check-up. I was a new patient and brand new to the NoVa area. I hate dentists but managed to find one in the Philly area (where I am from) that I loved and kept up with my 6 month check ups and cleanings over the years. After moving to the NoVa area, I didn't want to fall behind on my cleanings so I used Zocdoc and found Dr. Lopez. She seemed to have great reviews so I was at ease about seeing someone new. This is one of only two dentists I've seen my whole life that is this kind, knowledgeable, skilled and non-judgmental. Staff are all super kind, and dental staff are gentle and patient. I'm usually an anxious wreck going to the dentist due to past issues but here I actually know things will be pain free and I will be listened to so I no longer need anxiety meds or laughing gas to get through an appointment. I've even had root canals with no issues or pain here!

I brought my 6 year old nephew to Dr. Lopez for a regular 6 month dental. He was a little scared at first, but I told him there was nothing to worry about. Dr. Lopez was so gentle and made him feel completely comfortable. She was amazing! It is a very professional atmosphere with top of the line equipment and in a convenient location. I highly recommend Dr. Lopez!
