For almost thirty years Todd has been hand crafting one of a kind pieces of intricate jewelry. His self-taught signature style is treasured all over the world. Online since 1999 when Todd started his web based store "Hand Woven Bands", Todd has handmade and shipped over 10,000 wedding rings to couples all around the world.
This is the first step in designing the perfect ring to represent your love. ALL of Todd's braided rings can be woven in any combination of metals, the pictures selected below are simply a small sample of what you can create when visiting any given braid's page. Clicking a braid below will take you to that braid's page.
For many this braid represents two people on their journey together entwined by love. Couples have expressed their own symbolism in the Cord of Three ring by picking different colored golds to represent themselves (couple strands) and God/Love (God strand) holding them together. Another option couples choose is using our "rope strand" for the God/Love strand.
The story of Todd's swirl rings begins relatively recently. After thirty years of braiding and perfecting his handwoven artform, he began experimenting. How to create a ring as distinct and unique as a person? He began to experiment: taking inspiration from nature, from water, from flowing organic shapes, he considered form and flow as he played and pondered.
The concept of mother's ring may not be a new one but Todd's unique take on them gives them a deeply personal, special touch she will treasure. The swirl ring design is relatively recent in comparison to Todd's braided work. However, it is a classification all its own. The process of creating a swirl ring, by its very nature, ensures each one comes out completely differently than the last.

Years ago, my husband and I looked all over for wedding rings but none of them seemed right. There was always one issue or another. Then one night, I sat across from him and said, “When I was a kid, my brother made a braided copper wire ring for me and I loved it. Can't go any better than these hand woven rings by Todd. We had our rings woven from the same bands and decided on the platinum weave with 14 K gold alternating silver color and gold color in the rings. We get many great comments about these and I understand these were to first ones Todd made like ours. So we are very proud to be wearing first edition rings.

I found Mr. Alan's shop by chance one day,and knew when I decided to marry the woman I love,that only his craftsmanship would be suitable. Today was the big day,I returned to his shop and together we designed the perfect ring. I am amazed at his skills,and the atmosphere was electric! I have been a client of Todd's for a long time, starting when he was still a merchant at Pennsic in the late 90s. He does fantastic work and he's so kind and great to talk with. He crafted our matching wedding bands (from his braid collection but a custom color combo), and most recently, a custom swirl ring with gems from my mother and grandmother's jewelry.
