Akina Pharmacy is truly a one-of-a-kind pharmacy. They have been able to compound, not one but two of our prescriptions when other pharmacies were unable to do so. The experience with Alina was efficient from beginning to end. I received a call from the pharmacy after the doctor called in my prescription, letting me know that I would be receiving it the next day. After I receive the medication in the mail I received an immediate follow-up call from the pharmacy explaining the medication and it's usage and answered all my questions. I'm very satisfactory experience.

The pharmacy was great! Pickup was convenient and was able to pay and handle everything over the phone. Took a couple days to prepare the order, which is fine. But overall it was a great company and service, except the price was five time greater than other places I checked out when I advised I was paying cash and inquired whether they take an insurance discount card. They said no. I will inquire on that too. Therefore I am seeking other pharmacies in the area. These times, value is important. 3 years ago, I would not of minded.

I've had a good experience with Akina so far. I didn't go into the pharmacy, my medicine was shipped on the day it was promised with one day shipping via FedEx. FedEx did route it through MD, even though I live in VA, and it was one day delayed, but that's not Akina's fault and the medicine was packaged well. I only wish they took insurance and billed it to the insurance themselves, hopefully one day they will.

I called ahead then mailed my pets prescription to the Centreville, VA office. It's been over 2 weeks and they haven't found my pets prescription. My mail did not return to me and they seem to not want to find my prescription or visit their location and post office. The burden is their to find my prescription since I cannot around another vet appointment to get a new prescription. DO not trust them with anything mailed they first ignore you then suggest what you can do but they don't backtrack and hold their staff accountable.

I needed a special compounded drug recently and I contacted Akina via email on a Saturday not expecting a response till Monday but heard back by Saturday night! Provided instructions on how to proceed and completed the transaction via phone on Monday with free home delivery by mid week. So impressed and will use them in the future. If you're a Blue Ribbon champ like me who's had 5 decades with the finest gals at the County Fair, sometimes you need a little pick me up to git 'er done. I've been using Akina now for a couple of years. Most importantly the prescriptions are compounded consistently. My particular compound I can tell when it's a bit off. With Akina its been very consistent. They're also really good at assisting with the paperwork necessary to get insurance reimbursement. Insurance companies can be fairly difficult when it comes to compound medications. They require very precise information even though the Rx has not changed. Akina has been great at accommodating so I can get paid.

Akina was suggested by my doctor as they have a good price on medication that is not covered by my prescription drug plan. The doctor provided a notice printed by Akina stating that I would be contacted immediately by a Patient Care Coordinator to get a form of payment to process the prescription. 5 1/2 hours later I had not heard from them so I initiated contact. I got the impression that my calling was considered jumping ahead of other customers, although the representative was pleasant and took my payment information and address.

I was referred to Akina by my Urologist. I usually use one up in Jersey but she swore by these folk's and now I understand why. Quick shipping, excellent refrigerated packaging and they followed the script exactly. Temperature sensitive compounds can be tricky but they got it right and to me in very short order.
I look forward to doing business with them in the future and will tell my family & friends about them.

Absolutely disgraceful behavior from a company. My three month old kitten had a parasite called Coccidia which would be fatal to kittens, and I needed a medication compounded for her. I received a call saying the medication was ready, and I came down to the office to pick it up. The medication was not even in the store. I drove 40 minutes to get there. One of the techs came out and said there was a nationwide shortage of the medication and it will be in tomorrow and they will UBER it to me at no charge.
