This is a gem.
I trained a little bit back in 2012/2013, and had not touched the mat since. I was looking for a place to resume jiu jitsu training and found this place.
Coach Yukito is an amazing person. He is patient, knowledgeable, full of passion for life, and calm. He has a ton of knowledge and experience. Yet his personality, his discipline, and his positivity impacted me the most. He treats the students with true passion - sharing his knowledge in jiu jitsu and his positive attitude about life.
Coach also emphasizes cleaning in detail. I would agree the mat in the gym is much cleaner

I've been training with Yukito for ~3 years, and full-time since he opened Studio86. He's an amazing instructor who always seems to know what each individual student needs to get better (whether they're just a beginner or regular competitor). Yukito is building a great community of people who enjoy learning and training jiu jitsu - make sure to check it out!

I’ve been training for years at other gyms, taught the same moves and only improved at a snail’s pace. I started at Studio86 and have learned more in the last 3 months than in all my years of training. Concepts over individual moves for sport, self defense, and health. Highly recommend Studio86 and Coach Yukito’s classes.

Having been in the city for a number of years, I've gone to my fair share of jiu jitsu gyms. I can definitely say this place absolutely rocks! Yukito is uber knowlegeable, super patient and very detail orientated - qualities that you look for in a jiu jitsu spot. Jumping headfirst into jiu jitsu is one of the hardest thing I've ever had to do. If I could do it all over again, I would want Yukito on my side to help me along the way. Highly recommended for new and experienced BJJ student!

I was interested in learning Jiu Jitsu, but felt a bit intimidated. I'm in my mid 30s, so I was worried I was too old to learn the skills required. I looked at 3 studios and decided on this one. What really sold me on it was the teacher. I felt like there wasn't judgement and the passion for the art was clear. Studio86 is a great place for beginners looking to explore martial arts.

I have listened to the joe Rogan podcast enough to know that jiu jitsu is a solid martial art so I took the leap and joined this gym. The black belt instructor is legit and has really helped me understand a lot of foundational principles such as proper base and how to effectively execute an arm in triangle choke. I think this is a great gym because everyone gets along and will invite you out for dinner after training. I am glad to have joined this gym.

Been training with Yukito for 3+ years. Best coach I've trained with. Very high level black belt under world champion Lucas Leite. He gives exellecent instructions on techiques, very detail oriented. I've improved tremendously in a short period of time training under Yukito.
The dojo has a pretty decent size mat space for sparring. Mats are always cleaned thoroughly to prevent any germs for the next class. The dojo is on top of a hill, and has great air quality.
All the guys training here are friendly and welcoming. As for training partners, there are a huge group of students from

I trained with Yukito for about year before moving out of city. I heard he opened up his own place and couldn't wait to stop by when I was back visiting. The new place looks great. Everything is brand new and clean.
Yukito has a ton of knowledge and experience for everyone to benefit from. He does a great job of providing individual attention and feedback to improve your technique and game. He's also very welcoming and friendly and that spreads to everyone else in the gym. Stop by and train with a great group of people!
