From their humble beginnings as The Original Crawdaddy's NeNe and his crew have been serving the greater Baton Rouge area since 2003. With his son Adam and friend Tyler Downing, the three have grown the business from NeNe's own backyard. Catering tailgates and other functions while attending LSU, it all started from their passion for food in an attempt to make a few extra bucks for college.

Baton Rouge's best boiled crawfish, shrimp, and crabs come out of our boil shed! Pick up our delicious boiled crawfish to-go from Wednesday - Sunday. Our crawfish are cooked on a strict boil schedule, so you can expect them hot and ready just for you. Live crawfish are also available upon request and undergo a thorough cleaning process.

My brother worked with the staff to surprise me with a roasted gator feast for the last night of my bachelor party. It was one of the best experiences of my life. Everything about this place is excellent - the people, the food, the ambience. The employees took all time and effort to make sure the gator was cooked perfectly. They took down my address and promised to send me the boiled head from our gator and a t-shirt. I will cherish both of those souvenirs. 6 Stars - can't wait to go back! And thank you for every part of our dinner experience.

To my fellow Cajun transplants to Baton Rouge from Houma, Thibodaux and Morgan City... I've found someone who does it right, not only boiling (his crabs and crawfish taste like ours y'all) but run his business well too.
I reserved a dozen select boiled crabs for tonight and the order got messed up. So when I arrived there to pick them up, they had run out. Anyway Mr Neal (NeNe) stepped in and found a dozen crabs for me, boiled them while I waited and refused to let me pay for them! I tried one last time to at least pay him something for his product but he simple said enjoy them and

I can’t say enough about this place. The great food is only matched by the ambiance of the place. Best boiled crawfish for miles. This place is great for bringing your whole family or to bring a date. Can’t recommend it enough. Fun atmosphere with amazing food. Nene’s is a staple for my family. Get the fish tacos!!

The crawfish is great! More importantly, their service is outstanding! Last year, I arrived just as they were trying to close up shop (not knowing what time they closed). They happily fulfilled my order and thanked me for stopping by. I returned a couple of times last year and the quality of the food, as well as the service, was consistent. So, I made it a point to check them out opening weekend this season, and the service was awesome as always, and they remembered me. I don't get crawfish too often because my husband and kids don't eat it. However, this is now my go to crawfish spot when I do

I just left this establishment. I went in around 130p to order 5 lbs of crawfish. Beautiful building but it was confusing where to go. I noticed the sign that said to walk outside and saw the cashier on far side of the patio. Y'all definitely more signs for direction and lighting. The young lady who took my order seemed very disinterested in being there and although she was not rude the exchange was uncomfortable. I asked if there was crawfish to which she said yes and I paid for my order, but when she went back they were not ready. She told me it would take 30 mins and took my number to call
