Assistant Maya is our assistant/future amazing colorist. We see so much potential in Maya just by judging her own hair's revolving rainbow of color! Assistant Sam is such a friendly, charming future stylist! She has been doing her family's hair color since she was a teenager and we can't wait to see what she will create for her guests after her advanced training at Parlor!
Parlor Policies Cancellation Policy: We understand things come up in our busy lives, but when last minute cancellations or missed appoints happen, this is loss of income for our team. We ask that you respect our 24 hour cancellation policy, or the full amount of your previously scheduled visit will be added to your next visit.
Many of us have an emotional attachment to our hair, we need it to say who we are, how we feel, get the job, get us a mate and help us feel good about ourselves! Our passionate and super creative team of stylists will take care in ensuring that you are the most beautiful version of yourself. Though our pricing below is categorized by women, men and children, this is based on an average.
Our team of stylists are constantly honing our skills and sharing our knowledge with each other. We also hold apprenticeship training classes at the salon. We are always in need of hair models who are looking for an inexpensive alternative to a great style! Every apprentice is supervised by a master stylist.

Just moved to Montclair and was looking for a hair salon and decided to give parlor a try based on all the great reviews. My haircut turned out great but my experience was very overwhelming and not enjoyable. The salon seemed disorganized. especially considering the cost of salons like this, i am also paying for an enjoyable experience! i will look for another salon, going forward. this was just not for me!

Great salon! Relaxed, but professional atmosphere. I saw Erica for years until I moved. She is friendly and professional, takes her time and listens to her clients. She's great with wavy/curly hair.

I had the best experience at Parlor today! I haven’t had a haircut I loved in a few years. I was booked with Danielle after sharing my hair type and goals. She was amazing. She listened to what I wanted and made suggestions on what she thought was best. The salon is always super clean and I felt safe. Thank you all for the great experience.

Parlor is great! The staff is very friendly, the space is warm and clean, and Erica is absolutely fantastic! I am always a bit weary of starting with a new stylist, though Erica is legit a hair goddess. She listened to exactly what I wanted for my haircut, and created the most beautiful balayage. I couldn’t recommend her more highly!!!

Hannah is EXCELLENT. She made my hair look amazing. She truly is an artist. Not only is she a super talented, gifted stylist, she’s also an amazing
