Carousel Academy

First and foremost, I highly discourage anyone from placing their child in this daycare! My sister and her family recently moved to the city and needed to find a daycare as soon as possible. Unfortunately, Carousel Academy was the only daycare available. In the 3 days that she has been at Carousel Academy, I observed that she was very uncomfortable and wanted to leave urgently when picking her up. She attended daycare in the past and this never happened. On the 4th day, she was very afraid to enter the daycare facility, left the daycare crying, and her face was filled with scratches. Please note

Never been in there but if it’s as clean on the inside as stated by others, maybe they should work keeping the outside clean too

I highly recommend this center to parents. The staff are a group of teachers who are always encouraging the kids to do great things. They really care about the development and daily experience that your child has from week to week.

Every time I enter this location its clean and well kept. I notice how excited the kids are to be there and how much they love the owner. I definitely recommend that this is one of the best day care facilities in dfw. The children are well taken care of.

My daughter loves it. the place is clean the teachers are so loving and caring and my daughter Violet is always happy. She has learned so much at the school and is always happy to be dropped off. I am grateful to be able to bring my daughter to a place where I trust everyone there. thank you.

My six year old son attended Carousel for before and after care and he loved it! The ladies here are wonderful, I highly recommend!

My daughter's first and last day in this daycare I picked up my child with nail marks on the left side of her face. I got no accident report I was not called and inform of what happened. I got three different stories when I arrived as to what happened to her. I made a report with DCF I hope nobodies child goes here and no parent deals with what me and my wife had to deal with.

Horrible experience. I am a veteran so I used their free child care service for my appointment on 27-feb-18. I arrived at 750 and no one was at the front desk to buzz me and my son in. I sat there for 5 minutes until I decided to call and have them give me the code to access the building. Once inside, still no one to greet us the front desk. It was dimly lit, a piece of scratch paper for sign in on a clip board and still no one in sight!! So I call out, "Hello? Is there anyone here?" Nothing. By this time I'm already agitated seeing that my appointment will be starting soon and there

My daughter has been attending Carousel Academy for over 2 yrs. It's located on the campus of the Dallas VA medical Center. They are a federally contracted small business and must adhear to rigorous state and federal standards. Mrs. Berry, Director and Owner, is wonderful, as are all teachers. The children attending the preschool are dependants of federal employees and veterans.

Free daycare for ages 0-5 is available to veterans with a medical appointment on campus.

Accidents happens, kids will be kids, and nothing and no one is perfect. I trust Mrs. Wanda, Mrs. Harris, and Mrs. Berry,

I love this place. My son, Matthew, does too. He is in Mrs. Christinas class n he just loves her. She does projects with the little ones and its just awesome. Most caring teachers I've met. The hours ate great and they feed your children breakfast and lunch with healthy snacks in between. I know they have an after school program and Mrs. PJ is the bus driver. She's amazing too. All the teachers are. I would recommend Carousel Academy to anyone. :)

My daughters Natalie and Erica are 3&4 and have been there over a year. I love how they care for the children. The owner and director are superb always there for you. The teachers go way and beyond to make sure your children are well taken care. My girls learned so much I'm impressed. If you're looking for a real wonderful preschool, then Carousel Academy is where your child should be.

I have two children that have attended Carousel academy. My oldest son now goes to elementary school but is always welcomed back with open arms should school not be opened that day. My youngest son still goes here and really enjoys it; he loves Ms Christina. The teachers are awesome, and very good at communicating with the students and parents.

Some of the teachers are very nice, others lack the skills necessary to work with children. My child went here for over a year and sadly it took me dropping in many times unannounced before I noticed the real problems. For the younger children there is not a real playground only a small fenced in area that is half the size of the room that they are kept in all day. There are no toys in the room only a television that is on throughout the day to keep the children's attention. The small room next to it that you are told the children play in is never actually used at all! My concerns were confirmed

First off let me say; Carousel Academy is one of the cleanest, friendliest, and most caring of all daycare's in the St. Lucie County area. All of the staff their are amongst the best of the best out there I have had no complaints from my child what so ever. They always go out of there way to make my child feel comfortable in all situations. They have an excellent meal plan for the children along with their daily exercise which in these days is of upmost importance.
