Downstairs, we care for children six weeks to five years of age. Our care is offered Monday thru Friday from 6:30 A.M. to 6:30 P.M. Feel free to give us a call or stop by for a tour of our facility.

First Step Learning Centre believes that any working parent should be able to feel 100% confident that their child's safety, health, and emotional well being are given priority by the person chosen to care for their child in their parent's absence. First Step Learning Centre is honored to have the privilege of caring for your child.
These forms include but are not limited to the following: enrollment application, parent agreement form, medical release form, and the USDA application. We must also keep an updated immunization record on file at all times. Please keep this information updated for the safety of your child and others.

With a medically complex child (g-tube) finding child care is tough and this team goes above and beyond to help take care of him and help him fit in. The team at first step is amazing! They truly care about the kids and show day after day that the kids aren’t just number or another kid but that they are a second family.

I want to start off by saying this is not a bad child care center. The caregivers are very sweet, and the ones in my son’s infant room in particular seemed to really care for the children. They were good with the basics - feeding, changing, etc. The location and times are convenient, and it is very reasonably priced.
However, the communication is lacking. They give you a sheet at the end of the day with the times and amounts of bottles, diaper changes, and naps. That’s about it. There is no app with updates - this is literally the only child care facility out of 6 that I toured that does not

We love First Steps! My daughter, now 4, has been coming since she was 12 weeks old. The school has always had open communication with me, and I feel very comfortable leaving my child in their care. She loves he teachers and talks about them all the time. All the teachers are amazing, and we love Wendy! I wish I had known about First Steps when my older children were in daycare!

My daughter has been going to this daycare since she was 6 weeks old and she is 3 now. I absolutely love this place. The teachers go above and beyond to make sure our kids are taken care of and they do it with so much love and care. This is truly an amazing place. I grateful for everyone there. I’m truly blessed!

Our daughter started going here at 15 months old and it was her first ever daycare experience. She had a rough adjustment, but the workers here were so great at being there for her and helping her with the transition (and sending lots of pictures to help with my transition)! She absolutely loves going to school every day and is always having fun when I pick her up. We initially started going here thinking it would be for a short time and that we would end up finding somewhere closer (we have a 30 minute commute), but everything about First Step has made it so that we couldn’t imagine our daughter

I LOVE THIS DAYCARE!! Wendy is fabulous and so helpful with anything I may need. My son has been attending for almost 2 years now and I feel a peace of mind when he’s there. He was supposed to start kindergarten this year but with COVID, I decided it would be best to have him enrolled in distance learning. The teachers at school help him get his tablet situated and make sure he is present during his zoom classes. I am so grateful for this team— I don’t know how I’d manage to be a full time working single mom with a kiddo at home!

We love FSLC. My child has been going here since he was 12 weeks old and we have been so impressed with the quality of care he is receiving. The teachers love him like he is family and are so attentive to his needs. He has had two sets of teachers so far and they have all been incredible. He loves going and we feel so grateful for the care he is receiving. I definitely recommend this daycare!

My kids go to daycare here and it is excellent. The staff are very welcoming and accommodating. They all seem to know my kids by name. They do lots of fun activities and events for the older kids. My daughter really loves to go! (My son probably does but he’s only 5 months old so he can’t really tell me, can he)?

First Step is the absolute BEST!!! The care and love the teachers have for our kids is unmatched! Our boys loving going to school and love their sweet teachers!! They have become our second family and I wouldn’t send my kids anywhere else!! The center is always spotless, organized, and incredibly well run by Ms. Wendy! We can’t thank you all enough for all your love and care over the years, we love you guys!!!

First of all, Wendy and her staff are amazing! All three of my children went through her daycare and my two oldest even attended on occasional days when their elementary school was closed and I had to work! Their attention, compassion and patience are just a few of the qualities that I love about First Step. The early education curriculum was another. We highly recommend Wendy and First Step over and over again!
