Claire did my hair and make up for my engagement photos as a trial run, and everything was beautiful. On my wedding day, she arrived early and ready to go. Claire styled my long hair into a classy updo that held up and was comfortable the entire day. I will recommend her time and time again. Claire made me feel at ease and everything ran like clock work her years of experience in the beauty industry definitely made my special day perfect.

Claire was my hair and makeup artist for my wedding. She also did my hair and makeup trial the same day as my engagement photos....which I highly recommend for ALL brides! I felt glam for engagement photos and wedding day. Claire was so nice and also did hair and makeup for family members in the wedding. Even my mom was adamant she didn't want hair and makeup done then kept making comments saying she wish she did on the wedding day and Claire was SO KIND to get my mom in her chair and fix her hair up even though I didn't pay for it or have it in the schedule. I highly recommend her! She

Claire has been my hairdresser for what seems like forever now and I wouldn't want that to change. I'm not one for having anything too daring done to my hair, I just like to have natural looking colour, monthly root touch ups, a great cut and a few highlights now and then - Claire always delivers exactly what I ask for. She gives me great hair care advice and I highly recommend her!

I'm not sure how to adequately extol Claire's multiple virtues. I will start by saying she EXCEEDED expectations on each and every level. From my first connection with her via phone, she was responsive, warm, attentive and more. THEN, she showed up and transformed the day for my daughter-in-love, her sister, me, my mom, and my younger son's girlfriend. Claire's energy infused the most delightful, calming magic into the air. Her music was beautiful, she set us all at ease and set about making us all look and feel beautiful.

I would highly recommend Claire Young if you are getting married in San Diego. She came to my hotel room on the day of my wedding to do my hair and makeup as well as my moms hair and makeup. She was so sweet and personable. She understood our wants and concerns and she did both our hair and makeup exactly how we wanted them. Thank you Claire!

I came to Claire for hair and makeup for my engagement shoot. I no longer live in the SD area so she was my first stop before the shoot. She was quick and great. Iv asked for a natural look and she achieved it perfectly, but still covered enough to see in photos. She was super kind and let my fiance and I use her restroom to touch up and change since we had to rush to the photo shoot. I would recommend and use her again!

Well, where do I start? First of all, I was calling and messaging around to find someone to do my hair on short notice. Claire was super quick to reply and fit me in. Score! Day of the style, I come in and luckily she knows what she's doing because I barely know anything about styling hair and only know what I want for the back. She asked the right questions and figured out what would work for my updo and used extra hair pins to lock in that style once I let her know I was going to the Glider Port--aka wind city. She was kind enough to humor me and my never-been-in-an-updo hair (gasp!). Yup

I really can't recommend Claire too highly. She is a brilliant hairdresser but also a lovely person. Nothing is too much trouble. Claire cuts and colours my hair every three weeks, she is always punctual, always reliable and always makes me look super well-groomed and, most importantly, natural. She is also super-easy to get along with – she even showed my wife how to plait her hair professionally on one visit Totally 5 stars...and more!!

I have always wanted my hair to look magical. I have been to a few places for important events, and walked out of the salon with the style I requested, yet wasn't pleased nor excited about the outcome. Claire listened to what I wanted the look to be. She pulled the style off, effortlessly and quicker than I had anticipated. I go to a fair amount of events, and will only have my hair done by Claire. She is completely professional and beyond compare.

Oh. My. Gosh. Claire. She is AMAZING. Not only was she an amazing addition to our wedding but I feel like we could be great friends too! She was very flexible in scheduling my trial because I was coming from out of town and had to change the original appointment. She listened to exactly what I wanted and executed my vision perfectly.
On the day of the wedding, I had two bridesmaids and three mothers also getting hair and makeup done and Claire brought Susie with her and she took care of everyone's hair. Susie did a great job with everyone's hair and was also very easy to be around.

Claire has been my hairdresser for years now and I would never switch to another hairdresser. She always listens to exactly what I want my hair to look like and will make it happen. She is very experienced with colour, cutting and styling. I love that she will create styles that are more traditional but also those that are really unique. Claire is a very talented hairdresser. Claire is also a really lovely person to spend time with and will make every appointment enjoyable.

Claire was amazing! I found her on Yelp and messaged her a week before my event. Luckily, she was available and was very responsive. She arrived on time and was very easy to work with. I have very thick Middle Eastern hair and she was able to do her magic in an hour! She did such an amazing job with my volumized updo and did exactly what I wanted! I totally recommend Claire for any event you may have, she is awesome!

Claire did my makeup along with my mother's, mil's, and my tween daughters makeup for my July 4th Wedding and she was all around amazing! Claire help us look our best and feel amazing. Her makeup and hair skills are on point. And concerning my tween daughter, Claire helped bring out her natural beauty without over doing it. My mil doesn't normally wear makeup or do much to her hair and again Claire nailed it and made her feel pretty and not ridiculous. Claire did my hair and makeup for my wedding in December 2016. I am extremely happy with her service! Her style is classic and natural, so that I felt glamorous but not *too* done, which is just what I wanted. She listened to what I wanted, and she was a calm, fun, and supportive presence on the morning of our wedding. My makeup looked awesome all night long despite the rain and many hours of dancing.

I'm from San Francisco and looked for a stylist there in San Diego for the Marine Ball last 11/11. Inboxed Claire and responded after 30mins. Anyhoooooo! A day before the ball she texted me first about how we gonna meet for the scheduled appointment 11/11 comes, she was there FEW HOURS BEFORE OUR APPOINTMENT. Wow!!!!! Just wow!! Meeting her is soooooo amazing, so sweet, kind, anything that you could ever ask for your stylist.. she got this magic hands thats just brush brush brush.. and walllaaaaaahh!!! One of the last things I had to take care of for wedding planning was hair and makeup and I was planning for an SD backyard wedding from NYC during finals week of grad school; I was kind of all over the place to say the least. However, Claire's professional, effective, and efficient communication via text and email made it very easy to choose and trust that I had made the right choice with only a week and a half left before the big day.
