We offer several unique and elegant locations to choose from. You have the option of having your wedding ceremony under the moss-draped oaks on a very private bluff overlooking the pristine Ashley River or a variety of historically beautiful garden settings. If you are looking for the classic Antebellum-style wedding, this one is perfect for you!
The following menus are only sample menus, merely a guideline for ideas and suggestions. We welcome the opportunity to custom tailor a menu that suits your particular needs and budget. The menu items available that we can prepare for you are only limited by your imagination. If you do not see what you are looking for, just ask.
Utilizing sculptures and multi-components to create various themes that can be customized to fit your particular function. Lavish display using baskets, natural materials, backdrops, etc. Enhanced with hand carved vegetable sculptures. Whole salmon poached in a court bouillon of white wine and herbs.
We first chose Beyond Expectations because they were reasonably priced - especially for an expensive city like Charleston, and provided full service catering & rentals they place your rental order for you, and provide bar services, so everything is taken care of in one place. Very big selling point!

I can't say enough great things about this catering company. They catered my daughters wedding at Magnolia Plantation in October 2021. We live in VA, did most everything over email and phone. They definitely exceeded our expectations! The food was absolutely delicious, the service above excellent! Every single thing was better than we could have anticipated. Highly recommend Beyond Expectations for any catering need.

The very best catering experience I have ever had!!! Done long distance since we live in VA, they ensured my daughters wedding at Magnolia Plantation was a huge success!!! The food was absolutely delicious, the service was superb and the bar set up and bartenders were GREAT!!! Kim and Ron live up TJ the name of their company as everything was Beyond our Expectations!!!! Do yourself a huge favor snd use this catering company fir all your catering needs!!! My only regret is that they don’t work in Virginia!!!

Beyond Expectations is a first class catering company. Ron and Kim are such great people as well as talented and gracious. One thing we really liked about Beyond Expectations is that they only accept one job a day - so they are completely devoted to making your event a success. They have a loyal and stable staff who are attentive and friendly. And the food was FANTASTIC! We used them for my son's wedding celebration - a year after their actual wedding because of the pandemic - and Ron and Kim did everything they could to support us in that changing environnment.

Ron and Kim by far, exceeded our expectations! No pun intended 😊 The food was amazing, great service, and they are a one stop shop for rentals, decor and wedding planning! They do it all!
Ron is an amazing chef and Kim is one of the most prompt people (and patient!) when it comes to answering emails and making requests happen! We were very demanding with price checks and break downs of different options and they never skipped a beat.
Everyone was so impressed with the food and we are still receiving compliments a few days later.

Use to work for beyond expectations. The best service . The food is out of this world crab cakes and the little quesadillas are so good . These guys are true professionals . The presentation will blow you away . There kitchen is spotless very clean . Ron and Kim due a spectacular job I hope they will do my wedding

Beyond Expectations exceeded our expectations! We used them for our daughter's wedding and we were impressed with the food and presentation. Ron, Kim and staff were professional and caring. Throughout the year and a half of planning, they were great, helping with food choices as well as helping plan my daughter's big day! Their responses were quickly returned and all questions asked were taken care of. Highly, highly recommend them!

Beyond Expectations is a name fit for this business. So much more than just a catering service. Just a great service all around, and from beginning to end. From the very start, even though we were on a small budget, we felt as though we were Chef Ron's most important clients. Emails, phone calls, and personal meetings just added to the amazing service of this company. Chef Ron personally met us at our venue on a Saturday to show us exactly how it would be set up. He was at the reception himself, and at no point did we feel like a single corner was cut. The entire staff did a great job. Like
