My experience with this company was very disappointing. I was referred to them by a former co-worker. As I have been out of work for most of the year I was excited to have a lead on some perspective work. I reached out and was able to get what I believed to be an interview set up.
Prior to going in I did the usual research and actually found several job listings on their company site that fit my skill set and had great salaries. I allowed myself to get a little excited by the prospects. Big mistake.

I agree with everyone else. I would give this place less than a star if I had that option. First of all, I had to sit there for a long time to meet my interviewer (not being on time says something.) I met with a very inexperienced young lady and man. They were terrible as I felt like they acted like I was lying to them when in fact it is they who were not truthful.
I would avoid this place at all costs. No one seems happy with them and I'm not sure why any reputable Firm would use them?

Very positive experience! I was looking for part time positions, and after a meeting with MTK resources they got me a part time assignment that same week. They even followed up with me after the assignment to see how it went and what I thought about it. I am happy that I met with them, they definitely helped me!

I wish there were 0 stars. Please take what I am about to say seriously . If you are desperately looking for work and can't find a job anywhere do not I repeat do not come to this agency. I started about 6 months ago for being unemployed for a yr. the first 3 months were jobs needing me 1-3 times every other week. Then a silver lining of hope came through for my benefit and my recruiter informed me I had gotten through with a 3 month contract and could possibly be hired permanently. Maybe 8-9 weeks into the job I realized they were using me and eventually would get rid of me I had no idea

I wasted 90 minutes of my time coming here to meet with Charlene Birkin and Ming Tran. They told me all the good things you want to hear while unemployed and looking for a job. But once I shook hands with them and stepped out the office, they never responded to my phone calls or followed up with potential leads as promised.
There are hundreds of staffing agencies in NYC, MTK is at the bottom of the barrel.
