Cataracts are the leading cause of vision loss among adults age 60 or older and have become increasingly common as our population ages and lives longer. Treatment requires a quick, minimally invasive surgical procedure to remove your cloudy lens and replace it with a new lens implant. Over 3 million cataract surgeries are performed each year in the United States.
Our board certified team of ophthalmologists at Arlington Eye Center offer a variety of tests and procedures for a thorough examination of your eyes as part of our comprehensive vision care. We routinely assess your eye pressure during eye exams by "applanation, " as increased eye pressure may be the first sign of glaucoma.

Very impressed with Dr. Patel and staff. All were professional and thorough without doing unnecessary exams. Received a current state of eye health and comparative history to understand changes and needs moving forward. Equipment and office were clean and sanitized. It was a smooth exerience. Will go back and bring my family for eye exams here.

The office was very clean and bright it was even decorated for the Autumn season which looked very nice, the Doctors and Staff at this eye center were very professional, very detailed, and care a great deal about their patients. I know that now I have to undergo out patient Surgery and I was a little worried/nervous when I got there but after they explained it to me in detail I was feeling very comfortable about it when I left. Kudos to the Arlington Eye Center 😄

I Needed a copy of my last eye exam to get my Maryland Drivers License renewed. I had already sent the release form to release the information and went to the office to pickup the information. I talked with Andre D'souza and he could not have been more helpful. Not only did he take the time to get me the information I needed and have it signed but also stated that the thought I needed a special form from Maryland. He then did the research and found the form, filled it out and had it signed by the Doctor. He went way beyond the call of duty to make sure that I got what I needed and all the time

3-stars as I can't comment on their medical expertise/treatment. Had a 12:50 appointment with Dr. Patel. Waited until 1:20. Cancelled, got my refund, and went my way- as I had a prior engagement at 2pm. Felt sort of a passive aggressive attitude as I left- which I thought was a bit odd- but ultimately inconsequential, as I will probably seek out another provider. Customer service in the medical profession is sort of a mixed bag, anyways.
Seems like the practice has a focus on maximizing revenue at the expense of their patients' time- which might explain the densely scheduled appointments, overbookings
