Services
A Freeman's Place Counseling serves children, adolescents, women and families. We value connecting with our clients and connecting to the surrounding community. Quality mental health should be affordable. Everyone, from every community should have access to evidenced based treatment in a safe, caring and therapeutic environment.
Our agency creates a safe, caring and non-judgmental environment that facilitates a foundation for change. The therapist and client work together for the client to achieve self-awareness and self-discovery. In therapy, clients are offered the opportunity to increase healthier behaviors and effective daily functioning.
Marriages, partnerships, friends and family members are the most important relationships in life. All relationships go through stages and phases of change. Those seeking therapy for couple or family issues, often need assistance with breaking unhealthy patterns and forming more positive habits. Our therapists are trained in specific techniques to help the couple and family in need of fostering a better connection.
The group counseling experience can be a very rewarding process. Although it can be intimidating being in a group with strangers, studies have shown that those in group see their group members as accountability partners and a support network. Groups also provide a sense of validation; the group member can receive feedback regarding their current situation as well as experience they may not be the only person in that situation.
Intensive In-Community Service (IIC) is an analytical, focused goal-oriented, and needs-based clinical intervention that addresses the emotional and behavioral challenges of youth with moderate to high needs.

It may be provided in a youth's home or in an amenable community location by a licensed behavioral health clinician and is intended to stabilize and support the youth and family in an effort to deter more intensive interventions and to support the youth and family in collaboration with the Child Family Team (CFT) or identified support system.

Never got a call back to schedule an appointment even after I filled out all their forms. Call them and left 2 messages. At least have the courtesy to call back and tell me I can't schedule an appointment.
