I could not speak more highly about my experience at the J.P. Hou Institute. I came in for help with a dermatological issue and Dr. Alexander was warm, friendly, and reassuring. He took nearly 40 minutes simply listening to my medical history then outlining a plan of treatment - which was far better than the usual 5 minute appointments at the GP. I continued to see Dr. Alexander for a few more sessions, and before long my skin issue began to see positive results.

This was my very first acupuncture experience and I am very pleased to say I only have positive feedback for Dr. Hou.
I was suffering from digestion issues for 2+ years and i have been to multiple doctors that have either not resolved the issue or directed me towards probiotics.
Upon my first consultation with Dr. Alexander, I felt that he understood all of my problems and was very observant to my concerns. After multiple visits and the prescription of Chinese herbal medicine, my digestion finally feels restored. I will continue to come back.

Great experience. Dr. Alexander, at the Orlando Acupuncture clinic has been great in explaining me how he would tackle the issue in my plantar fascia, taking a holistic approach to it. Since it was my first time doing acupuncture, he took time to explain me everything in detail and making me feel very relaxed. The sessions so far have been great and I am seeing an improvement after only a few sessions. Dr. Hou also gave me a program of exercises to help me get back into shape safely and progressively. Highly recommend him to everyone.
