Abilities Home Care is licensed by the state of Minnesota to provide the below listed services as prescribed by the Department of Human Services. Under the Traditional PCA we are required to offer and perform the following task and services: Find, hire, train, schedule and fire staff, Find backup staff.
Abilities Home Health Care LLC (AHHC) is a PCA Choice Agency. PCA Choice is designed by the state to be a consumer-directed PCA service model where the recipient of care takes on added responsibility such as hiring-firing, training, scheduling and supervising their PCA staff. Traditional consumer relies on the PCPO to assign and manage the direct care staff.
At AHHC, Supplemental Nursing Services provides clients through long term Care Centers, temporary help, temp to hire, contract, direct placement and other human resource related issues. SNS also provides clients operating skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and correlational facilities across the country with highly skilled professionals who deliver quality patient care.
English must be applicant's first language and a good working knowledge of Spanish will be an added advantage. It is necessary for the PCA/HHA that we chose to be able to communicate clear and precise English or Spanish. Candidates must also pass a background check and qualify for our home health agency and pass the MN basic PCA training test.
