The Catfish Place

We stopped here on our honeymoon on our way to Miami and we’re so glad we did!!! Clayton’s service was above top notch!!! He was extremely helpful in deciding how to order and was very attentive. 10 out of 10 I would recommend this family owned gem!!!

Update:
We had the "create your own fried plate". I had catfish, scallops and oysters as pictured. Unless you are starving only order two items instead of three. The portions are healthy (even after a little snacking before the photo) Mindy was a fabulous server again.

We just had dinner there. We enjoyed the fried seafood dinner, ( catfish, shrimp, scallops, clams and oysters). The portions are Hugh, so you really won't have room for an appetizer.
Mindy was our server and she was one of the friendliest and most attentive we've had anywhere. Ask for her.

Great food and price! My husband and I ordered lunch platters that were huge and it was about $25 total. If we lived in Florida we'd eat there constantly. Quick service too, which I was worried about (they have a sign to be patient they're currently short staffed).

The food was delicious! We got the gator and turtle appetizer, with a side of hush puppies. First time eating gator and turtle surprisingly really good. Sad I didn't take any pics, was to busy stuffing my face.
Ooh also the sweet tea is to die for! Normally I dont finish my drinks... i refilled 3 times!! And now I really need to pee. Bye!!😶

Our waitresses was amazing! The food was great! The price was right! We received a salad as well. Shout out to the staff that work, Wednesday the 3rd of November around 7pm.

We were promptly greeted and quickly seated. Chancellery took out drinks orders and made sure we had fresh sweet tea throughout our dining experience.

First time trying. The food was delicious. Fried chicken was fresh and had great flavor! The friend shrimp and fired lobster were delicious! The kids food needs to have flavor very bland chicken strips. The only thing that was disappointing was that I asked for medium well on my stake, when it came out it was medium raw… the blood got on my corn, mash potatoes, and bread, which ruined my meal. They corrected it but everyone was done with their meals by the time I got mine back. Had to take it home. I would come back for the fried lobster and fried chicken. The waitress was very friendly and attentive

Went on a Saturday evening for dinner. Had a 15 minute wait - but seemed less than that when we got seated. We recieved service immediately upon being seated. All of the severs were busy. They all were working very hard. The kitchen fell behind in orders so there was somewhat of a long delay (we overheard another server tell their table). When our food did come out, it was hot and fresh....so so very yummy.
Catfish obviously delicious. Cut into strips that were the perfect size. Filets of flounder were light and flaky and perfectly battered. The shrimp were good in size and perfectly battered

If your looking for local flavor, look no further. Along with seafood, they have gator and turtle. The meal I had here I went mundane and just got the cat fish with fried okra. I was expecting a catfish filet, and was pleasantly surprised when my plate arrived with large chuncks of catfish. Seasoned and fried perfectly. The restaurant was clean with a little gift shop. The staff was attentive and friendly.

We went back to this restaurant after 3 years while on vacation last week. It was just as good as before. Food was fresh and hot and servers, manager, staff were friendly!
