GYCA is a nonprofit Christian childcare organization that has organized to provide children a quality early childhood program. Through the early year's education, we extend this nurturing program to children, families, and the community as well as to help enable persons to live life in the fullness that Jesus proclaimed.
The educational philosophy of GYCA is that children learn best through play and hands-on experiences. GYCA will create a child-centered and comprehensive educational developmental program for young children between 2-5 years old and their families. Our emphasis is both on teacher-initiative learning centers that provide all developmental areas and on play, as it is through play that young children learn.

We are literally the first family starting at Growing Years at Westchester. Although it just started, we fell in love with it already. My son is 4 and half years old. We have been searching for a fun school in the neighborhood for some time and found Growing Years when they were planning to start. We like their philosophy of learning through playing. The first day from school, he was so excited and telling me all the fun activities he did at school with teacher Monica. And then he told me ' I love going to school!'. I have been expecting this and have not heard it for so long.
